It enhances. It's an incremental upgrade. The idea of "room filling" sound is a stretch. It has seamless connectivity via HDMI to my Vizio TV. It was an open box item, still in the inner seal. Great deal.

The treble seems muted no matter what I try to adjust. Ended up not using the soundbar after a few months. I tried it with other devices besides my TV, and still, I'm not fond of the sound it produces. Look elsewhere.

The only real issue is a delay between the relay in speech, so sometimes you notice the words a microsecond after the actors speak.
