Sounds great, but HDMI connection wasn't working

Unfortunately, I had to return it because the HDMI connection wasn't working. I was only able to use the optical cable which was not going to be ideal since I wanted to use this for my gaming setup. FYI, I did buy this open box.

Too much music, not enough voice

Good sound but it cuts out

Even after adjusting the settings it still cuts out. Wish I would have returned it for another option. I purchased the warranty to cover any issues, so I will be using that option to get it fixed or replaced.

Vizio is not a quality brand; this s-bar proves it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Buyer beware. 1. Contrary to the user manual, a Vizio TV remote will NOT power on/off this soundbar. 2. Sound cuts in and out via the optical cable. 3. HDMI-CEC doesn't always work. The soundbar will not turn on sometimes. 4. The equalizer will always default to the Movie setting. You cannot change the default to something else like Music or Dialogue. You must always use the soundbar remote to switch it every time it's turned on.

Garbage

I didn't use it extensively enough to test the performance while watching movies. It actually doesn't produce the first split second of dialogue if there is any silence. Just terrible. Wish I could return it. Not even going to gift it to someone. It's going in the dumpster. Never buying Vizio again. Trash products.

Not so great

Could be maybe possibly the fact that the guy who delivered it, threw it up on my porch instead of walking up the four stairs that I have and setting it down I don’t know, but it’s a terrible sound bar.

Sound bar never operated properly.

Second unit worked, but sound quality with the sound bar was no better than TV alone. In addition, volume varied erratically when remote was used for other functions. I returned the unit for a refund.

Good unit for the money

Won't rattle your windows but it's certainly loud enough and has decent base and treble. Connectivity is good if you have an HDMI ARC connection on your TV to use for sound output, not so great if you have to use optical. The unit failed to turn on once when I turned on the TV but I just turned the TV off and on again and it powered up as it should. I was hoping to use this for both my TV and my stereo receiver, but according to the tech I got when I called tech support, it won't automatically power up and pair to the stereo. At least I got a human when I called tech support. Overall very pleased.

It was nice while it lasted

This unit only worked for a about a month before it started not sending sound sometimes. Now at the 3 month mark it doesn't work at all.
