The built in subwoofers over power the clarity if you try to get any substantial bass out of it. If you dial back the bass, you can get pretty clear dialogue. But if you want a little punch to your sound, I would go with something with a dedicated subwoofer.

Its decent for what it is

Hard to judge as I have two far better systems indoors but they also cost alot more. It is an upgrade tot he Sony TV speakers though so I am satisfied overall.
