The sound bar would not connect with my brand new Vizio V655-H19 TV. I tried to hook it up various ways, to no avail. My other bluetooth TVs, iPads, etc. worked perfectly with this sound bar. Sadly, I had to return it since I specifically ordered it for my living room television.

I'm sure it is me but after setting up the sound bar it is not automatically connected and must be reset every day. Not what I was hoping for. I don't want to jump through hoops each time I turn on the TV as I'm not that tech savvy.

LIP SYNC ISSUES - Total Junk - NO EQ DIRECT?

    |

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Total Junk, no EQ direct option which forces the soundbar to have lipsync issues. It's so far out of sync you have to adjust it for all types of different content. DTS, Stereo, Dolby, etc all have to be adjusted independently to fix. No idea why vizio can't fix this. This product should be avoided unless you want a subpar audio experience.

If you have a small room, 2.1 soundbar is perfect. Returned it because for big living rooms you will still have to crank your TV volume high. Get a 5.1 surround bar if planning to use in bigger living rooms.

I have the M series TV, so I the M series sound bar would work perfectly! The set up wasn’t easy, I have to call customer service and once connected it would Bluetooth my cell while watching TV! So it would blast music if I watched a TikTok video, which woke up my roommate. The main reason is it would not stay connected!! It was always searching and searching for a signal? So I have to reset it or power down...each time per CS!! What a dam hassle!! So back to to open box grace yard!! I’m over!

Can't recommend this product. It is super fickle. I've gotten new wires I've tried multiple inputs. The bluetooth works but I got it for my tv that doesn't have bluetooth. It only works with the Aux and the sound quality is all wonky which makes it unusable. Maybe it's user error but I'm not sure what it could be.

This thing constantly is not working. I tried it hardwired in and it still will not work with my VIZIO TV. I spend more time trying to make this stupid thing work that I get so frustrated and I refuse to even watch TV. This was absolutely not worth the $300 I paid for it. Don’t ever buy this, it’s not at all worth it.

Best sound bar for under $150

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

We live in a world where you can drop a four-digit number to buy a sound bar. This review is for people who barely have three-digits to spend on a sound bar. When I bought a new OLED TV, I wanted to move 55” HD TV to another room. And since the TV is Vizio, I decided to buy a Vizio sound bar. Not that it matters but this was less than $150 and I did not want a separate subwoofer. I simply wanted something that’s better than the TV’s own speakers. This is my very first sound bar. I fired it up via HDMI ARC and I was pleasantly surprised. For a 12’ x 12’ room, I personally don’t need any more bass (or treble) that this sound bar produces. It has some sound processing capabilities, but honestly, just a stereo sound that I can control with my remote is more than satisfying to my ears. It’s got Bluetooth if you need to stream music to it, and it works with optical as well as HDMI ARC connection from your TV. For under $150 (open box often available for $110), this is the only all in one sound bar I found from a leading brand. What I would have liked is if this sound bar was maybe slightly longer for a bit better stereo separation. It’s not a deal breaker for me at all.
