    Easy to set up. Don’t think it has the best sound. I have to turn the volume way up for some shows.

    Hissing after two weeks.

    Worked great to start. Than after the last day to return it started hissing. Reconnected everything and even tried changing from HDMI ARC to optical and still hissed. I had heard good things about Vizio but my opinion is not very positive.

    Honestly, before I purchased our two VIZIO TVs, I was impressed by the specs and the quality of the picture. Being slightly deaf, I didn’t really paid attention to the reviews about the poor quality of sound of the VIZIO TVs. I can now confirm that both our TVs have terrible sound. Speech isn’t clear at ALL. I purchased this sound bar hoping it would improve the quality of the sound drastically. Despite the fact that it was delivered without the fixtures to fix it to the wall, I wasn’t impressed by the device (pretty bulky) nor by the quality of sound. It didn’t improve our experience and sat on our tv furniture for a few days until I decided to return it. I connected the tv to our hi-Fi amplifier and my Quad speakers are so much better and better designed that my bottom line is: don’t waste your money!

    Would not work with a Insignia TV

    Would not work with a Insignia TV. Called BB support - walked through every possible configuration. Figured it was DOA and replaced it with a new one, same model. Exact same problem. Replaced it with a Insignia soundbar and no problems.

    Speakers wired incorrectly *Vizio is aware*

    The speakers were wired incorrectly, which Vizio acknowledges happened to a few batches. Left speaker is wired as right, right speaker is wired as left. They suggested I flip the soundbar upside to “fix” this problem. Cant do that when you’re mounting it on the wall.

    Have had intermittent problems with this sound bar. It will randomly go into “demo” mode which results in sound level randomly blasting sound every few minutes. Fixed that and now it has lost sound completely.

    Hooked up my sound bar. I followed the instructions on setting up for the volume and the equalizers my problem was when I got my volume at the level of voices it was good but then all of a sudden the background noises would come in and they would jump about five times as loud as the voices and I had to down the volume so that I didn’t break my eardrums I went through all the instructions repeated repeated never could get the volume to adjust properly.

    Poor sound and too hot

    The bass speaker is so intense it isn't an enhancement to the sound, but a percussive thud. It's also very hot to the touch on the underside of the bar, flipped it over so the shelf it's on won't keep warping.

You should hear the bass rumble during explosions, planes flying, earthquakes, action scenes, and anything that would normally have a deep tone. You may not get these tones when watching something like a sitcom or the nightly news. If you have a VIZIO television there is a channel on the ‘Watchfree’ service that plays action movies with no subscription or rental fee, this might be a good place to find some content to test your sound bars limits.     The sound quality is not any better than the tv sound. I could not recommend this soundbar. I should have spent a few dollars more and got a better sound bar.

    For the price of this thing, the sound is not that great or loud. I strongly regret buying it now and wish i had gone with something half the price.

    Does not work with Vizio M Series TVs

    Does not integrate with the Vizio M Series TVs. This sound bar did not work properly when connected to both the audio return HDMI and the digital optical audio connections. With the HDMI, it would work a few times then no sound. I would troubleshoot, get it to work again for a while after rebooting and rhen after a couple of days, no sound. Half baked. Not recommended. I returned the product.

    Returned it, was to long for what I wanted. Plus it's all cloth covering, big dust collector. Never used it

    Bluetooth Issues

    This sound bar is bluetooth enabled and will turn on at a very high volume at any hour of the day. There is no way to turn it off (that we've found) except to unplug it. It's happened several times. Note that the bluetooth is connecting to something outside our house as none of us have connected to it. I've read online of others having the same issue.

      Hello soundbarghost, thank you for leaving us your feedback today. The sound bar will play audio from a Bluetooth source that is connected after the sound bar is set to the Bluetooth input. If the sound bar is not on the Bluetooth input, then the input will need to be changed either manually from the sound bar itself, the sound bar remote, or the free VIZIO SmartCast remote. Using the free app, the sound bar and the device being used by the person changing the input, would both need to be connected to the same internet network.
