No adjustments I tried, would fix it. It's unfortunate because the sound quality itself when the volume stays where I put it, is excellent. It's got good bass which is something I was looking for. I noticed others mention having the same issue with the volume, but never saw anyone post a solution. Maybe I just received a defective unit, but I don't wanna risk it and deal with the hassle of returning another one, so I'm returning this one and getting something different.

Love the small size of the subwoofer, which is its best feature because I didn't have a lot of space. Have owned many different soundbars over the years including Samsung (muddy), LG (muddy)...not this one. It's the best of the best with multiple different listening modes (movie, music, game, and dialogue). Fantastic DTS and TruVolume. Everything you could ask for in a small compact bar and subwoofer.

With the best bars reaching nearly the price of the TV we bought, we were looking for the value for our purposes. With tweaking, this can serve you very well. The directions were a bit tricky, (some settings can only be changed on the bar itself), but I figured it out. With the HDMI cable and economy settings, it goes off and on with my Smart TV. I have only one controller now- the one that came with the TV!
