You should hear the bass rumble during explosions, planes flying, earthquakes, action scenes, and anything that would normally have a deep tone. You may not get these tones when watching something like a sitcom or the nightly news. If you have a VIZIO television there is a channel on the ‘Watchfree’ service that plays action movies with no subscription or rental fee, this might be a good place to find some content to test your sound bars limits. Vizio 2.1 Sound Bar

Keep having an error ( Subwoofer not found ) The power indicator light on the rear of the Subwoofer is blinking. Vizio Tech Support has not been much help. I want to return it.

Lowsy soundbar hard to hear dialog poor surround

Fantastic ATMOS Sound - Great Value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This VIZIO Soundbar really sounds awesome. It replaced a n older VIZIO that also sounded very good, but lacked ATMOS. Using apple tv 4k and and LG C1, the sound is fantastic and very loud and clear. The remote takes practice to use and setup all of the sound options, but I was used to it from the previous unit. Music playback sounds really good through the TV, BUT the bluetooth audio feature does not sound good. When listening to music through the TV I found that Direct was the only decent setting (removes all of the digital processing) and adjust the sub and bass/treb upward. The Sub is small but it wirelessly connects instantly, I just wish it was twice its size. Overall, I am very happy with this soundbar and it is a big upgrade from my old Vizio. I also tried the tcl Atmos soundbar, and it did not sound nearly as good as this one IMO especially for music which I use most of the day working from home.

Dolby Atmos for all

Very first thing I did was fire up Netflix and put on a Dolby Atmos enabled movie, we watched the new one with Ryan Reynolds and the Rock and just to keep things short.. all the rumblings and thundering that you get at an IMAX theater can now be achieved in the comfort of your home. Great soundbar, makes my whole house shake and rumbles all throughout for a great experience

Good for the price

It works great with my arc port wish I would have bought something like this sooner. For the price this is hard to beat I don’t have earc so not sure if the Dolby atmos stuff works or not

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.super cheap, says it decodes Dolby Atmos, but wouldn't for me. I was so frustrated that I wouldn't give me the correct led color for Atmos, I bought a more expensive Samsung sound bar just to see if I was actually sending the correct signal to the sound bar. With the same exact signal sent to the Samsung, it immediately began decoding Atmos. The Vizio does not have any rear speaker options, nor does it have upward facing speakers, so even if it were able to decode Atmos, it couldn't possibly give you the experience. I was very underwhelmed by the other functions as well. It was nearly impossible to create a "night mode" where I wouldn't disturb the whole house, while still being able to actually hear dialog.
