Adequate sound, but nowhere near as impressive as the 5.1 device we use in another room. TV sound has to be turned up to ~50 as opposed to 20-30 previously. Woofer output is disappointing.

It booms too much, at times, and there are too few equalizer settings that makes us satisfied for some programs. It has vibrated the floor--if that's what you like. It has startled the dog. We wanted something to make dialogue better and to sharpen the sound. It's okay--but we don't love it.
