It works well enough in that role, but the clarity could be better. I am using an HDMI connection.

Great product at a bargain

Very nice TV

The only thing is we cannot download our own apps, but he mostly uses it for his XBox, so that is not a big deal. I think we can cast to it, but he has not tried it yet.

A good 2nd TV

Great Smart Tv

The only downfall is the dimming of the brightness that occurs every five seconds. It's a great tv if you don't mind the dimming. Some times it's not noticeable.

Just what I expected

I did some research and found that the only real issue was a weak sound characteristic. The TV has lived up to what I expected when I purchased it.
