I first ordered Samsung 24 inch online and then I returned it. I never liked Samsung smart phones, the system is just too complicated. I guess it's the same for Their TVs. It's not that I'm too stupid to figure it out, but I prefer something simple and straightforward. vizio is very user friendly in this sense. I don't have to read the manual to figure out what to do. At the beginning though I had the brightness issue as many others mentioned about. The brightness changed randomly. However I did a little research and fixed it. The smart tv function works great as well since I watch a lot on Hulu. Initially I bought a chrome cast with the Samsung which I returned together. I use MacBook , so you need to download the apps first. There is no Hulu on AppStore for Mac! It was just painful for the complication. This TV is the contrary. Also I thought 720 p and 1080 p make no difference for a small tv, but it does. Go for the higher resolution, it's much better

Sound fades in and out, and picture gets brighter and dimmer. Now Netflix won't work either. Total garbage.

I bought this for my craft room. I wanted a tv that I could watch our Amazon Prime on. The set up was tricky for my Dish satellite cable. When I did the channel search, that was the channel I was to use for Dish. (There is only a quick guide to your set up included. I went online to find more help) The picture quality for Amazon is great for Dish, not as good. I may need to put in a new cable for it. Sound it ok, the picture does adjust when the sun starts to shine through the window. I just close the blinds. Overall for what I wanted it is a fit. We have bought 3 different tvs for various rooms and this brand and Samsung were the best ones. But - if it were not for a craft room, I would have bought the Samsung smart tv. Cost was the main factor in purchasing this one.

Actually got this TV to use in a multi display computer setup. Works great, I've had it 5 months now. With the built in speakers works great for a basic business pc monitor and doubles as a TV. Plus it has the built in apps and is simple and easy to use. Not for a hi res graphics development though.

Have had my Vizio tv for just a few days but am very pleased with it. The set-up could not have been easier. My big concern was the sound quality(volume) and am thrilled with the sound. This tv is for my kitchen and it fits all my needs. My sons were impressed that I chose a Vizio. :)

We chose this television for my son to take to college. It had all the features he was looking for and allowed him to connect his gaming systems. Both the size and the price were perfect as well!

Purchased first set, and after setting up, I noticed a hot pixel at the top of the screen. Exchanged it smoothly at Best Buy and proceeded to set up the new one. I can say - also having a 70" Vizio - that Vizio makes a great TV. It has an extensive menu with many picture settings. I have gone through the settings and gotten one of the most accurate color pictures I have seen on any TV. Also has audio settings that work well with headphones. Overall, beats a number of other TV's I have tried.

Solid kitchen TV for the money. We have been very impressed with the size and quality of picture. Great to have Smart tv functions in an inexpensive set. Great buy!

The setup of this TV was easy enough. Walking through the hardware/stand - 4 screws. There was a problem with actually setting up the "apps" such as Netflix. It would not connect to my home wireless until I changed the security protocol on my wireless router. Easy enough to do, but a hassle.

My friend has just bought one of these! It has great picture quality and can access Netflix and other programs like that too!

I just could not pass this deal up for a Smart tv! It was even Geek Squad approved...fits perfect in the corner on my computer desk (it is a big one) it did have some dimming moments but had to tweak it to my preference by going in to the settings and turning the backlight feature off now it does not dim anymore...<3 it best tv I ever had...getting caught up on all my shows I have missed in the past thanks to the built in apps.

I bought this for my bedroom and so far I am very satisfied with it. The picture is pretty good but the sound is kind of lacking and the remote feels hollow and flimsy (but it does what it's supposed to). The best feature is the SMART capability. During setup, the TV easily found my wireless network; I entered the password and it connected right away. I've never had connection or buffering problems, although my modem is just in the adjacent room. The Amazon Instant Video app (for which I specifically chose this model) did not work initially but updated once online and worked within 30 minutes after setup. The was even a little alert with the icon telling me it was updated.

This is a nice small/thin 24 inch TV, perfect for the kitchen and has full 1080P picture. Plenty of controls to get the best picture available. The sound is ok, better then most TV's in the same size. There aren't many 24 inch TV's out there with all the bells and whistles this one has.

Was purchased for the kitchen area and it certainly has exceeded our intentions. Big picture for a small TV and the smart feature is certainly a plus since we "cut the cord". Clear 1080 picture and an easy to use full function remote. Only disadvantage would be the sound quality, but can't expect much for such a small TV.

I bought this for my five year old daughter's room and it has been great. For less than $200, you get a smart tv with good sound. It took a little while to set up, update all the firmware, and put the settings to maximize the picture and sound, but has been smooth sailing ever since. I set up a Netflix kids profile and she has never had a issue with buffering or connectivity. The speakers are at the bottom of the screen facing outward (with the Vizio logo at the bottom), that although not the most aesthetically pleasing, sounds good in her small bedroom. The picture is fantastic when using Netflix or blu ray movies, utilizing the full 1080p. I would definitely recommend this to a friend or buy another one for an office or bedroom.

After completing ALL of the steps in the SETUP guide, and successfully testing the internet connection, NONE of the apps worked. They just reverted to configuring the internet connection which the test told me was working correctly. The pre-installed OS/apps were out of date and needed updating. Unfortunately, there's nothing in the documentation provided about updating the OS or apps. The OS and Apps are updated automatically by the TV, when it is turned OFF (which I find a little disturbing) or you can delete and reinstall an app manually. That isn't found in the user manual either.
