I purchased this Smart TV with the hope to attend on-line classes. Although it connects to the Internet, there is NO browser app, such as Explorer or Firefox, so the TV is limited in use to the few apps (Netflix, iHeart, etc.) that come with the set.

This is an awesome small Smart TV. It does our Netflix with no issues and all of the settings are very easy to do. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone wanting a small TV.

We bought one of these and the picture faded from light to dark. We returned it and the second set is the same. It's going back. Best Buy was good to deal with but they don't have a set we need in this size for our kitchen.

I wanted a smart TV that would also double as a monitor for my laptop. The TV has lots of features but also limitations. It only has 1 HDMI port, the smart TV functions are extremely slow (such as browsing Amazon or Netflix), the display is not very bright even on the highest setting and it doesn't tilt. Since the stand is flimsy plastic, perhaps it's best that it doesn't tilt but it's not too convenient for a taller person using it as a monitor. Again, the price is nice and maybe I'm expecting too much for a TV/monitor under $200.

Don't understand the good reviews on this set. The picture is horribly washed out, and I have tried adjusting the settings but nothing has resolved it. Also comes with an very cheaply-made remote. The main toggle is hard to use, and you have to have line of sight for it to work. This was my first Vizio...and will most likely be my last.

I purchased this TV on sale to later find out that it was a return. When I brought it home, the TV never turned on and the remote, after putting new batteries in it, never worked. I called to return the TV and was given a new one. After going through the initial login and set up, my router was found, but the TV quickly disconnected and was never to connect to wifi again. A matter of fact, the TV locked up with the VIZIO logo and never showed a a menu screen again. Called support, reset the TV, and had no luck getting the TV to work. I spent close to five hours trying to get this TV to show some progress, to no avail and after calling support again ( to which were responsive and easy to understand ), the solution was to wait 5 -10 work days to get a service person out to look at the TV or return the TV. I opted to again return the TV. Not to sure VIZIOS issues, but there seems to be plenty of people complaining of the same problems. Unless you want to spend hours trying to figure the SMART tv out, I would suggest looking at a different brand.

My TV lasted 1 year 10 days. I called Vizio to see if they would cover warranty and was told warranty dates are firm. So the customer satisfaction on the box is not true as I never had a TV that only lasted 1 year. TV was used very little, as a matter of fact it was in the box for 6 months before I used it. Some research on the internet identified they may use cheaper components so they can sell cheaper. My recommendation would be it is a gamble buying a Vizio, pay a little more and get a TV that will last. My TV started flipping to a black screen but only for a split second. Later it went black with sound and then would not turn on. Vizio said warranty dates are firm. Good luck if you buy one of these.

I use this tv in bedroom and it is awesome. The wi-fi works great and the picture quality is right up there with the higher end HDTV.

2 weeks since it no longer turns off. I let it turn of with the 10 minute timer. Besides that, this smart tv is great.

The tv has a very good picture. The sound could be better. All in all, it's a great value!

This was just what I needed. Lightweight, excellent HD quality, and has most of the apps I use. Wish there was a larger selection of apps though. Otherwise, I'm a happy camper!

The support personnel, while trying to be helpful, can not push firmware updates for the product, sent them to a customer nor can a customer download them. The out-of-box level is V1.34.45.0000 but the current firmware is V1.60.10.0000. It is my process to always update to the current version before installing any device but especially when it's internet connected. I returned the product.

I've had two of these. Both had issues with menus freezing, WiFi connectivity (router only 10 feet away), and very clumsy, if not, non-existent navigation. Once something, like an input, was set, if you want to change inputs the whole setup routine add to be done again (to for instance, change from computer VGA input to TV). After menu freeze the manual power switch wouldn't even turn off the unit. The only way to correct it and reset was to unplug the power.

The brightness of the picture continuously fades in and out taking about 30-40 seconds to complete a cycle. NetFlix frequently buffers while showing a decent connection level. This isn't the problem that the brightness fade is. I have had the TV for 3 days and it goes back today.

I selected the Vizio 24" for my daughters dorm. My criteria were a smart TV with wifi and a vga input to display her laptop. I read the reviews and knew that some had network connection issues as well as some that did not like the video quality. I have the technical expertise to warrant taking a chance on this product. Those reviews are correct. The Vizio's network hardware will not connect to all routers, it is lacking the protocol to do so. This can be overcome, but it's difficult. You have to force your router to use the TVs MAC address. This is not acceptable for a dorm room or even the average end user. The video drivers and comb filters do not allow enough adjustment to display a decent image. You can find superior models at similar cost. I will never buy a Vizio again.

Good viewing angle. My wife loves the heart radio app. Would buy again - in fact, I did.

Absolutely loved the TV, but its very unstable and fell off the table after a slight wobble and fell to its very untimely death. I recommend it if you are going to put it some place where no movement will ever happen. Putting stands in the middle makes TV's highly unstable.
