Awesome price for a 1080 TV, bought as a backup TV when our 55" Wall TV died, while waiting for it to get repaired. Decided to buy a new one

Vizio has a proven track record for good televisions for a good price. This 24-inch D Series TV is no different. Although it's not an IPS or AMOLED display, it has pretty decent viewing angles. It's also very good sharpness with 1080p content and has good color calibration when using the calibrated dark picture setting. And for gamers like me, it has great input lag and motion interpolation for a standard 60Hz tv. There are three downsides that bothered me. It irks me that it only has a single HDMI port for all your devices. Not great but only a dealbreaker for some of us out there. The other was I noticed some flickering when displaying black screens while gaming. Once again, this is only noticeable by a small majority. The biggest issue is if you want to use Google Cast that is built into the E Series TVs. The D Series doesn't included built-in wireless casting functionality. Utlimately, if you want a 24-inch tv, there is not many that I would recommend more than this one. Unless you want to get the 32-inch.

I've been okay with the purchase, Its an acceptable TV if you're buying it as a Computer monitor, theres really just two major flaws in the TV. First the Image is high Definition but it has this shadow and this unnatural feel to all the images on the screen that make my eyes hurt after just a little bit of watching anything with definition. Second, the "smart TV" function is cool but the hardware in the TV is totally not up for the job. Everything I tried to watch using its smart TV functions was laggy and had a difficult user interface. Its a fine buy if you're looking for a cheap, get-the-job-done type TV, but if you're considering this as some sort of luxury? It tries, but ultimately doesn't make the bill.

I bought this television for my 2 car garage. It works fine and has a good picture. My only complaint is the volume. It is not nearly as loud as the 21" Vizio I replaced with it. If I step outside the garage I can just hear it. My old 21" Vizio I could hear outside the garage while washing my vehicle.

This tv has all the features I want - sound control, video control so I can make it dark as night so it won't blind me while i'm watching tv in bed! Very easy to set up! Really nice back lit led with lcd HD picture! Sound is just fine for a room about 15x15 or so, it gets plenty loud. This is my first smart tv and it's been excellent in all ways.
