I would not buy this Vizio TV again
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This smarttv replaced one of our older vizio TVs. Looking for this size to use in a kitchen. The tuner is not as sensitive as the older model it replaced so fewer over the air stations are received. This tv randomly turns on after which the remote and the power button on the back will not work to turn it off. Need to unplug it. The user interface is not nearly as nice as the webos interface on our LG smart tv. Vizio was fined for recording what owners were watching on their tv to be used for marketing purposes. Apparently sends a screen shot back to their servers once a second. Images are analyzed to determine what you're watching. The text displayed by the info button is tiny. Didn't mind in the store, but once you're more than three feet away it's pretty hard to read the show title. Minimal audio output options. The remote is not very well designed in that the bottom is not flat so if it is laying on a table you can not push the power, volume or mute buttons without bracing the remote to stop it from flipping over. Why wouldn't you put a full flat bottom on the remote? Clearly no user testing went into this product. Picture is okay, but speakers point down rather that forward as with the small vizio it replaced. Apps work okay, but the remote has stupid ones permanently printed on keys in addition to one for netflix. Why not put amazon on the remote? Probably a marketing deal with xumo.

Good mist

TV as a monitor

Audio options suck
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First i'd like to say the picture is great...But the sucked part is only a 3.5mm jack for your audio choices...It is the worst option for a sound bar..You lose about 40 % of your volume power..plus more chances for audio interference and static...Would it of killed them to put an digital optical audio jack?

Turns itshelf on

This is the third set all that turn on by itshelf and won't turn off until it is unpluged from power. It is using antenna. Vizio replaced first set and repaired the second.

Worked well until it didn't.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would easily be a 4.5 star review when it was working. Now it can't detect any signal from any input. Also the menu display will not stay on the screen after pressing the menu button. Tried online Visio chat support without success. Never abused, always used in the same location, never moved, just developed an electronic mental problem. Such a shame to send it to the e-waste collection point after only 2.5 years. I expected it to last longer than this, since my other TV's have lasted decades.

Turns itself ON

After a couple of weeks I kept coming home to find the TV on. It would not turn off or respond to the remote. Had to unplug it and reset it. Worked OK for a few days, then again it would turn itself on. This happened many times. Best Buy would not take it back - had to send it back to Vizio. They sent it back 'repaired', but after only one day, it happened again. Vizio offered to send me a new (refurbished) TV. I had no other option - they will not refund my purchase. I am waiting on my refurbished TV - but I do not hold hope it will work correctly.

horrible tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this tv because samsung didnt make a 24 inch 1080 smart tv.I hate this tv and i am retiurning it for a samsung 32 inch smart tv 1080 .The sound on this is horrible and the color is horrible. I kept trying to adjust the sound and the color and it doesnt work. I cannot wait to go back to best buy and for the extra money i will buy a samsung. All my products are samsung,i should have known better not to switch to something i know nothing about.At least i have had great luck with samsung tvs and stereos and dvds.

Disappointed

Right after the 2 year point, 2 of the TVs just died, no warning, no problems. Just would not turn on one day. The one sat in the box for several months before we got it set up and then hardly ever watched it.
