However, there are occasions it has had flickering of the close captioning which seems to correct on rebooting the TV. Otherwise, a good TV.

Waste of my time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Within two hours of setup, the display froze and did not respond to the remote, including the power button. I had to unplug and replug to get it functional again. The design is terrible. I’m convinced this TV was designed to sell streaming services, not watch TV. The streaming services have actual buttons on the remote. These buttons take up space that could have been used for more useful functions, like sleep timer, something I use every single night. Now I have to navigate multiple levels on the settings menu any time I want to set the timer. The TV defaults to streaming every time I turn it on, so I have to set the input to TIVO every time I turn on the TV. The sound is terrible. It sounds cheap and tinny, like what you would get from a battery operated radio. The literature that comes in the box warns against touching the screen. The graphic is jagged lines. I don’t know if that means risk of electric shock or risk of breakage. Would sure like to know. And it is very difficult to not touch the screen during set up, so again, this seems to be another design flaw. I will of course be looking for alternatives, and perhaps trading down for a “dumb” tv.

To adjust the input that the TV powers up to, you will need to navigate to Menu > System > Input at Power On. Here you can choose the TV to power on to your TIVO.
