It's neither clear nor sharp although I have tried adjusting the controls it doesn't improve the pixilation and fuzzy graphics and words onscreen. In fact, streaming live tv on my iPad gives a far sharper, clearer picture. Also, the picture view mode when set to "normal" presents many channels in letterbox format rather than full screen, "Stretch" still has a top and bottom border, "wide" is still letterbox, and while "zoom" extends the picture it cuts off some of the side and bottom info. (especially not good when watching Jeopardy, the news, and sports.) Although the price was right, I'm not satisfied that this was the best choice available.
