    I purchased this as an opened box item in store. Before purchasing the item i asked the representative if anything was wrong with the TV he said no it's just an opened box. So purchased the item. I got home, opened the box...again...hooked the tv up and noticed a significant lag in the response to commands via the remote. Then i noticed a small black dot on the screen, like a pixel had gone out. In addition to the previously mentioned, i noticed that the remote control was cracked. I can't help but wonder if Best Buy check the open box items before refunding monies and and restocking for others to buy?

    Not happy with TV performance so far, TV seems to “skid” or have a “glitch” in the sound and video. Have had to unplug and reset a number of times to remedy the situation. Problem was not obvious until after 30 days of ownership.

    It always lags. I can’t watch a full 30 min episode without either completely blacking out or it loading every two minutes. The remote and tv time is completely off. Worse tv ever.

    Got this to replace my existing Vizio TV I was using as a monitor. Not happy as I have begun seeing Lines on my TV within a year of use. Within Warranty period I think so I might reach out to see if I can get it replaced.

    Operating system has a hard time keeping up with the low and hardware specs. Everything is laggy. The home screen can take a minute or more to load, even with a fast Internet connection.

    TV lags considerably...there is a delay when going through all menus as well as streaming apps like Hulu and Netflix. I thought maybe it was due to using a wifi connection for internet, however I’ve since connected direct to a cat6 and everything still has a delay. The sound quality is also poor. I realize it’s only a 24” TV, however a small Amazon Echo device sounds 100x better. I would have returned it if it were not for the fact that I already mounted it on the wall and I don’t want to go through the hassle of remounting another one. Again, I also contacted Vizo about this and they never responded.

    It is not the best, it is its small tv category, very slow, the response to the controls, it is difficult to move from one control to another, I disappoint the product.

    VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE

    We purchased this TV for our summer home (weekends). The TV response to the remote is POOR. At first we thought it was just the angle then the next weekend we decided it must be the batteries so we purchased new batteries. Put in the second set of new batteries this weekend and the TV is still not responding to the remote. Sometimes you have to press a button 5 or more times to get it to move one time. This TV picture has good clarity. Now we brought it home this weekend to get the box to return it and we saw we are 6 days past the return date. Not at all what we expected from this brand or from Best Buy. We are very unhappy about this!

    Very Slow

    Picture is ok but the television is very slow loading apps. Took almost 45 minutes to setup TV which had to be updated twice before it could be used. Ultimately bought a Roku for it and am just using it as a dumb TV.

    This is a good tv only issue I have is that since the minute I opened the box is smells like the factory burnt down around this tv and someone said put it in the box if it’s not melted. Not even sure what to do or who to call.

    Picture is good, sound not great, but the apps are extremely slow to respond. Even hooked it up to an ethernet cable hoping it would make a difference but it did not.

    Overpriced for quality and size

    I feel like the tv is overpriced for the quality and size. I have high speed internet but the tv is slow and sometimes freezes when I’m streaming. It works ok, but I definitely feel like I overpaid.

    Almost junk. Plays tv, but cannot cast as it should, does not see wifi when its on and other devices see it. Turns itself on at random times!!

    I purchased this to mirror cast from my iPad. It was not intuitive and the TV is slow to react to commands. I also was not able to use my cable channels after hooking this up I regret purchasing it.

    A cheap TV that isn't really SMART.

    You get what you pay for. I would only recommend this TV for a display for cable/satellite TV. Dont use the SMARTCAST OS. It is VERY slow, laggy and does not allow the download or deletion of apps.

    AVOID COMPLETLY - Latently Defective Design- FAIL!

    This Vizio 24" Class D24F-G1 is by far the poorest design of any TV I have ever encountered. I have never gotten 30 minutes of uninterrupted TV viewing on this Model. I have to unplug it and Restart it just to get to the Home Screen. It fails to consistently connect to my Wi-Fi which runs at 300 MBPS. When viewing different Channels it produces a motor-boat sound and buffers endlessly. It navigates at a snalis pace, meaning SLOW. I was told during numerous calls to Vizio that I should wait for the TV's next Firware Update, but after 6 Months of Updates, it is still a Latently Defective Design- FAIL!

    This is the worst tv I've ever had. It won't turn on half the time and when it does it has issues when it streams by constantly freezing for seconds at a time and then playing catch-up so you can't even understand what was said. I have 1 GB wifi so it's not a bandwidth issue (not to mention that the other TVs in the house all work perfectly.) It's just a poorly made, and performing, tv.

    Could not connect to my remote every time had to keep going back to HDMI1 would not stay on it. Had to fix yo color over n over I would not recommend this product. I kept it because it was a bedroom tv
