Useless built in speakers

I would not have bought this item had I Known ahead of time. I'm using auxiliary speaker which should not be necessary

Waste of money?

Acceptable video - crumby remote.

The button response lags to the point of causing errors in channel selection and other menu items controlled by the remote.

Disappointed

Best Buy is a great store and the workers are friendly. I have 65 inch Visio that works great, but this 24 inch model is flawed.

I will never buy Vizio again---NEVER!

But my experience was far less than I expected. Continually drops Wi-Fi connection, processing of video is poor, slow to take commands from remote and audio output volume is low. Had to install a Roku stick to improve Wi-Fi connection and stabilize video and audio performance. Not much of a smart TV, I would have returned the unit, but I threw away the box. Recommend if you are looking for a TV in this price range, you should consider another brand.

Adequate for intended use

Great picture, poor sound

I tried to adjust the equalizer but nothing helped the distortion. Unless you add a sound bar, I would not recommend this.

This one just had a very poor picture quality. I checked all the settings, and even tested another TV side by side with this one and the picture quality was poor / pixilated. It almost makes me think there was something specifically wrong with the unit I had because I followed all instructions, checked the settings and connections and have had really good experience with Vizio otherwise.

Posted .Hi PNWookie, what devices do you have connected to the TV? To get a HD signal, you need an HD TV (Which you have) and HD cord (HDMI cable) and an HD device. Sometimes with smaller TV's people will use non- HD cables, or connect them to devices that aren't set to broadcast in HD. Open Box missing remote

Constantly Needs unplugged and reset

Died in less than 3 months

I was really excited to finally have a tiny little TV in our kitchen, and it worked well for almost three months. Today (July 26, 2020), it just stopped working. No matter what I tried, the TV just wouldn't turn on. I have never had a TV die on me, so I am quite disappointed to say the least. I have never had to deal with a TV manufacturer when it comes to warranty, so we'll see how it goes when I call Vizio support tomorrow. I'll update this review based on my experience.

Horrible

The first issue was the poor audio quality then I had issues with the on/off light constantly blinking unless I turned the TV off and back on. The entire smart system has a horrible lag and it freezes. Also, the WiFi single isn’t consistent and kicks you offline. I should have known better when I saw 6 open box returns at the store. I returned mine yesterday for a cheaper Insignia that is far superior. Note to Best Buy - Remove this from your shelves, it’s garbage

Poor quality VIZIO TV

Returned due to the worn out/burned smell

I tried running it the day after and it smelled up my entire kitchen and hallway. It is a fairly thick tv; I couldn't verify whether or not it can successfully run 1080p because the wifi card is weak (but that is normal with tv's, you'll have to make sure your router reaches it well). I returned this product for the smell (toxic?). The specs for the tv on paper sounded appealing but I couldn't verify it.

Junk do not buy!!

We needed to replace a small TV so thought we would get another. What a mistake, the picture isn't bad but the sound is terrible. We were dealing with it, but now after 3 months of owning it, it doesn't want to turn on half the time. Here I am now, again trying to get the TV to turn on and keep unplugging it and trying an nothing. Now I have another junk TV that won't work. What a waste of money. This will probably be our last Vizio in this house. DO NOT BUY!

Visio junk

Not up to Samsung standards

Posted .Hello Barbaraanne, New televisions may produce an unusual smell or odor when first turned on. This is due in part to the manufacturing process of components. Some of the electronic components are "coated" to prevent corrosion during their journey from the manufacturer to the home. When those components heat up for the first couple of times, depending on how long you leave the device on, an odor can occur. This smell is not harmful to your health and it will dissipate usually between 10 days and 2 weeks and not return. This is normal and occurs with virtually all consumer electronics."
