    The picture started becoming less viewable with horizontal lines the day the warranty expired. No more Vizios.

    What a horrible little TV. I purchased the Vizio 24 inch smart TV to use for streaming at my desk. It’s streaming abilities are worthless .. constantly freezing, buffering, rebuffering.. the large LG TV in the living room doesn’t have this issue.. so it not my Internet, ROKU, Netflix, Apple TV or Amazon Prime.. it’s Vizio. So basically I spent $100 on a worthless screen to adorn my desk.

    This item was broken right out of the box. Hooked everything up and turned it on. Half the time it turned on and was only snow on the screen. Sometimes after turning it on and off two or three time it would show a clear picture. Sound is awful!!!!! Rear speakers project poorly unless it is right up against a wall. Put this in my kitchen on the counter and sound was terrible.

    Sound quality was terrible. I then spent money to get an Insignia sound bar. Could not get sound bar to pair. Vizio TV had no digital optical audio connection. Neither Vizio nor Insignia were able to help me. Vizio suggested that I the Insignia product was not compatible. Best Buy only offered options that were a charge to me. No free support. Beware ofBest Buy and stay away from Insignia.

    Odor was somewhat overwhelming!

    As another reviewer posted, my TV also had a VERY strong plastic odor or smell that was instantly noticeable when entering the room it was placed. After 5 days of hoping the odor would dissipate, I returned it to BB. Another reason for returning this TV was the poor quality of sound and lack of adjustments for sound quality.

    I believe I received a brand new out of the box item when I bought this tv, yet I’m having issues with the power on / off switch. I sincerely hope my vizio tv isn’t a damaged or refurbished and repackaged item. That would be a false sale. I plan to call tech support for a fix, otherwise I may have to go through the trouble of returning this item and researching to find a better product.

    screen mirroring sucks

    Sound horrible. Almost impossible to use because sound so bad. Thinking about hooking up a speaker to it so it can be heard and understood better but yet another cost. Sound seem to go out the back, can be heard better down the hallway - very loud for them before I can hear in the room where it is set up. Extremely disappointed!!!!!

    Bought one Vizio, issue with front light kept blinking when TV was on. Brought it back for a new Vizio same model. The new TV would not shut off. Returned that TV and got a new 32 inch Samsung. Not sure what is wrong with the Vizio 24 inch TV’s picture clarity was great but poor Quality Control as the TV’s are not tested. Shame on Vizio for a lousy product.

    Bought this TV as an open box. Of course they’ll never tell you why somebody returned it but this TV smelled heavily of plastic. It’s stunk up my house and gave me a headache. I don’t know if they sprayed it down because somebody else owned it before or whether it comes like that from the factory. Not buying Vizio again even though I have three other ones.

      Hello Danny, New televisions may produce an unusual smell or odor when first turned on. This is due in part to the manufacturing process of components. Some of the electronic components are "coated" to prevent corrosion during their journey from the manufacturer to the home. When those components heat up for the first couple of times, depending on how long you leave the device on, an odor can occur. This smell is not harmful to your health and it will dissipate usually between 10 days and 2 weeks and not return. This is normal and occurs with virtually all consumer electronics."     I like the tv but I can't get my satellite channels to show up. It disconnects from Wifi on it's own.

    I thought I was having issues with my wifi, so I ran a hard line fast internet connection, and I’m still having problems. Tv works great for 3 or 4 days and then tv stops responding after powering on. This has happened multiple times, I’m done troubleshooting this tv. I’ve noticed other reviewers with the same problem. Time to return and get a lg.

    Don’t Waste Your Money on This one

    This is the worst TV I’ve ever had. 1st the legs broke. Then it get’s stuck and won’t come on or off. Yes I changed the batteries in the remote. You have to unplug it and reset it. Half the time the Smartcast won’t come on. It is very close to my WiFi Router so I know that is not it. I am so sorry I spent the money on this. What a waste.
