Slow, Slow, Slow, but nice picture.

It is so slow, it can take 2-3 minutes just to get to an app opened and then watch something. It can be so painful, I was tempted to throw the remote at the screen. The Vizio SmartCast TV does not allow apps to be added. It is missing ESPN, HGTV and other popular apps. However, a smart phone or PC can be used to stream these apps to the TV. I purchased a Roku to use with the TV, and that works great! Much faster response. I can be watching something within 30 seconds of turning the TV on. This makes the TV useable. If a user wants to use Smart TV features, I would look elsewhere.

I use the product as a computer screen and TV. This appears to me to be the two most useful features. It should be easy on the remote to choose these two options, but it is not. Instead the remote lists all the pay for screening services but does not list antenna or cable tv or computer.

A lot crammed into small package!

I used it in one of the rooms in my RV. We loved it so much that we got one for our daughter’s room once we moved into our home. The ability to tap into apps without having to hookup devices makes this an excellent option for small rooms, or areas where clutter just won’t work.
