I picked up this year's version today and it is already crapping out tonight. Not sure why, but it is unacceptable and going back tomorrow. App page is slow to respond, and it already seized up while I paused Deadpool on Amazon Prime to grab another drink. When I returned, the television was unresponsive. After some power-off/power-on shenanigans, I got it to continue playing my movie, but half the buttons are not working on the remote. New batteries do nothing to help. The previous Vizio was nice enough when it worked, even with the slow, clunky feeling app pages, but I just can't deal with this nonsense in this age.

Posted .Sorry to hear your having troubles. If the buttons on your remote have stopped working, and the new batteries didn't help, I think there may be an issue with your product. TV as well as apps are pretty slow. The TV tends to freeze up a lot and I constantly have to restart it. I would not purchase this TV again. I'm thankful I got it on sale and that I didn't pay full price.

Not the Best Smart TV

But forget about using it as a smart TV device. It is extremely slow and buggy. If you can get a less expensive TV for the same quality, that’s not a smart TV, get it instead, then get something like the new Google Cromecast TV device and plug that in. Much faster and easier to use.
