Will Not Turn On or Off

Thought I could give it to one of my kids to use as a TV when I don’t need it anymore. It was okay- not great for screen resolution, but forgivable since it was small enough to fit on my small desk. However, just after the return window closed, I found that the remote no longer worked to turn off the screen. I started using the power button on the back of the unit instead. Just got home and found the screen still on- it will no longer turn off using the power switch on the unit! Guess I’ll have to unplug it after every use. I do not recommend this TV! Wish I could return it.

Nothing but problems

The TV would not turn on or off. The replacement TV worked better for a while. I have been using it for about two month now. The TV picture and sounds turn on and off on it's own. Some times it tells me that the HDMI cable is not plunged in. Also some times to get it to turn on I have to also the unplug the power cable. To solve the problem I have to unplug and re plug the cables. The picture and sound some times stay's on after the TV warms up and then again it never stays on for longer than 2 minutes at a time with out stopping and starting by it's self. When it works the picture and sound is great, but after trying two different VIZIO TV I will never have another. It is out of warranty now and I have to by a replacement TV.
