    Decent TV but I can't SmartCast with Xfinity

    Setup and pairing with my android worked well but I haven't been able to SmartCast Xfinity/Comcast content.

      Hello RetiredEngineer, if the television and your android device are on the same network and you are using a cast capable application you should be able to view your content without an issue.     I've been putting up with more time looking at a grey screen or some kind of a trouble message than a video. This is ridiculous. I have another larger smart tv (by another mfg) in the next room and it always works fine but this one, UHG. I have had some other Vizio TVs for my computer and they worked great. But this Smart TV definitely isn't. Worst buy I've made in a while. I should have returned it instead of hoping things will get better, but they have only gotten worse! I"m taking it down and dumping it in the trash because trying to watch it is too frustrating. Every time the endless grey screen comes on I have to resist throwing something at the lousy, inoperable, truly STUPID TV. Last night instead of turning it off, I waited. 2 hours later, still no picture, only a grey screen with a trouble message. If I could flush it, it would. But the next best thing is the trash bin. As it crashes into the bin I feel a wonderful sense of delight and relief. Yup. Best thing I did since i bought it.

    To bad it did not come with a manual. That would have been easier, but it's working fine otherwise.

    It’s true, the sound is terrible. So bad I had to buy a Vizio sound bar, doubling the price. This replaced a same size Vizio that weighed much more....no coincidence there! And had to get tech support to help connect them due to lousy instructions. I have super fast WiFi but everything takes insanely long. So disappointed.
