The sound quality is good for people who watch regular TV (not so much for a theater experience). Good value for the price.

Most SoundBars are only 2 channel (i.e., L&R stereo) and a sub-woofer (i.e., so called, "2.1"). Sub-woofers may be very popular but (contrary to what most ppl believe!), don't really contribute to what you hear, as they output energy *below* normal hearing range… that's why they are called "sub" (i.e., below!) woofers! But what one really wants is a *center* channel speaker to be able to clearly hear dialogue in most TV programs. So, that's what this model SoundBar offers… L&R (stereo), plus center channel (i.e. "3.0"). If you want the pounding in your chest type of feeling, sure, get a model with a sub-woofer (i.e., ".1" designation), …but if overall sound quality & dialogue intelligibility are what you want, get a "3.0" or a "3.1" model… the "3" means the center channel… it makes a huge difference wrt dialogue intelligibility. It also adds enormously to music pieces when there's a lead singer /performer! One more thing, like most SoundBars, this model does its own digital to analog processing… which adds some delay & may then require you turn off your usual TV's speakers to avoid conflict. However you may(?) be able to leave your TV's speakers on if you use the audio output from your SetTopBox instead of your TV audio output… as the processing delay due to the TV's audio and similar delay from SoundBar audio may be matched.

I love this investment! So much better sound than my Vizeo TV and I like to play music from my iPhone on that bar. Great bass, treble, true stereo.

This is my first venture into the world of soundbars. I will begin by urging anyone who is interested in them to be certain to grab an accommodating subwoofer; I did not. This unit was on sale during the holidays for ~30% off the list price, and did not include a sub. Keeping in mind the lack of low-end, this does exactly what I need it to; it offers superior clarity at lower volumes for use in a quite environment. That is to say, it isn't ever turned up very loud at all. I despise built-in speakers for TVs, especially since TVs themselves are housed in very small casing anymore. It just doesn't make for a good listening experience, which takes away from my enjoyment. I wanted something simple, cheap, yet superior to TV speakers, and that's what this does. I'm beyond confident that higher-end units blow this out of the water, but they would be overkill for me, as this is used in a bedroom setting. Mids are a bit recessed for my taste, but still present. Highs are very crisp, making listening at lower volumes ideal. The built-in bluetooth functionality is pretty great in concept, but I found the reality of it to be far from worth it. I paired my phone to it, to listen to music one fine afternoon (just to test how that would go), and it was pretty abysmal. Again, the lack of a sub made the sound very underwhelming. Additionally, I noticed that regardless of how low the volume was, there was a bit of distortion in the lower frequencies. This is true even with the "bass" setting on the unit turned down to 0, as well as volumes balanced between my phone's BT volume and the unit's volume itself. It's worth noting that if you have an accompanying Vizio TV (I purchased this in line with their 43" 4K unit during the holidays), you can use the TV remote to control the volume and power-off/on.

I was looking for a product to enhance the sound of my Vizio flat screen tv. Bought it for the tv and loved the enhanced sound quality. I went and bought another one.

Bought this for our new TV. Made a big difference in sound quality. I decided not to go with a soundbar with a subwoofer because I knew my wife would like the looks of this and this was a little cheaper. Happy with purchase.

We were tired of our outdated receiver and speakers and when I went to BB for something unrelated, I happened upon this gem. I'm not an audiophile - I don't want half a zillion settings to figure out. This little gem was literally plug and play, is aesthetically pleasing and AWESOME sound quality. I got it on special for only 100! I'm very happy with the purchase and quality.

I have been very pleased with the performance of this sound bar. Though the speakers have their limits (and what speakers don't?), the capabilities are impressive for their size. The sound bar allows TV audio and/or bluetooth audio to remain clear and full as the decibels increase. Definitely glad I made the purchase.

We needed a sound system for our large finished rec room in the basement. Could not be happier with this purchase. It is hooked to a 65" Vizio TV. The Dolby sound is great and the 3.0 model really picks up the sounds that a full sound system typically would. For the price, can't be beat.

This is a well balanced soundbar! The sound is equally great if you're streaming bluetooth or if you;'re hardwired into a TV. I have this plugged into my Vizio TV with the optical audio cable that came in the box. It was more than long enough with room to spare. This sound bar does not have a display or way of telling you what input it is on. So if you have it plugged in to something that makes sound, you will need to switch inputs until you find the right input. I suggest giving it 5 seconds per input. This easily syncs to any bluetooth device for audio playback and does so with high fidelity. It synchronizes with a regular Vizio TV remote, or at least it did with my Vizio 50". It makes it useful because I don't have to juggle two remotes.

I bought this as a gift for my parents. It was easy to install and has a great sound. Would definitely recommend this sound bar.

Have mine hooked to a Samsung TV. There is a hook up for a subwoofer which I intend to add later. Otherwise good sound right out of the box even the bass is decent as is and the simulated surround is good. I live in a small apartment if that gives anyone a guide.

I got this for what I thought was a steal, but turns out there are tons of other soundbars out there on sale, some that come with a subwoofer. With that said, there's nothing really wrong with this soundbar. The sound is clear and powerful - just a hiccup here and there. There are occasional lip sync issues and if you have a Vizio TV, working the television volume separate from the sound bar volume is annoying. It's also a bit annoying that the sound bar doesn't automatically turn on to the last input used. Overall, it works. When it's all synced up, I'm super-happy. There are a few annoyances, but nothing bad at all to say about the sound quality - it's outstanding (if you get a hiss, there are two options to remove it, plus on most smart TVs, you can adjust it). Bottom line, this was my first soundbar and I got it because it was a flash sale. Next time, I'll check out some other options - this one is probably actually worth about $75 compared to what's out there - luckily I only paid $99. If I'd have gotten it for 75, I'd be very happy.

Can't beat this sound bar for the price. Massive upgrade over the Insignia and under 200 bucks.

Love the fact it has Bluetooth capability. I use it all the time to listen to music. Easy to setup to the TV and has very good sound and that is without the sub-woofer.
