This is a good sound bar with adequate bass for TV watching. I hooked it up to my Vizio TV with a cheap spdif cable and my TV automatically detected it and the remote for the TV automatically started controlling the soundbar. so it was pretty much plug and play, which I wasn't expecting. Gives good clear sound that I was looking for. I got it for $100,on sale and I wouldn't pay more than that for it.

I had a Boston Acoustics sound bar I purchased about 4.5 years ago that started going bad last year. This was disappointing because it was on a TV that got relatively little use. It finally went out altogether so I wanted to find an economical replacement since this TV, when used, is mostly for just standard TV shows and not necessarily for a home theater. (We have a separate home theater for watching movies, etc.) After reading the reviews I went to Best Buy today to see if I could find this one in stock. I was very pleased to find one in their open box area at a discount. It was in perfect condition with all of the accessories/cables/etc. It was super-easy to connect with the included optical cable. Up and running in 10 minutes. I knew at this price it was not going to be a full cinematic surround sound experience, which is fine - I just wanted something better than the back-facing speakers in the TV. After using it this evening I am very impressed! The sound is great. The center channel really helps with the spoken elements, and the sound is very clear. Size-wise, it is a bit smaller than my old sound bar so it fits nicely under the TV and doesn't block the TV's remote sensor like the old one did. It looks nice sitting there. For the price, I am very pleased and it exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for something to improve the TV speakers and give a nice sound, the Vizio is worth your consideration.

Bought it online after reading the reviews. Wanted it for bedroom as my 65" Sony tv speakers were not up to snuff. Very easy to install, loved the paper template for wall mounting if needed. Hooked up one wire, went into TV menu and changed it to external speakers, turned on soundbar and it override the TVs speakers, very easy. Very easy to setup for bass and tremble if wanted. Sounds very nice, gets very loud, perfect for my needs. Blows away the TV speakers. Also had a small 12" subwoofer that sat unused. Very easy to hook it up as well. Love the fact that it automatically shuts off after having no input after several minutes, energy efficient, which is important to me. Also easy to program my Logitech and Dish Hopper remotes, both of which had the Vizio in their database. If you expect this to replace your 5k man cave 'setup, walk away, because it won't, nor is expected to. So be realistic. It is what it is, a really nice sounding soundbar, easy to setup, and hey, the small feature set that it has actually works just fine. I am glad that I caught it on sale, it has found a home. :)

I recently purchased a large TV and was underwhelmed by its sound quality. After reading other reviews of this soundbar, I bought it, and I'm glad I did! The sound quality and range is fantastic. Even better is how I can easily sync my iPhone to it via Bluetooth to play music from Bandcamp and other music apps. I use it now more than my TV.

Sound quality is decent but bass gives it trouble, starts to sound scratchy w really deep tones.

This is a good product but I should of researched better. Bought open box...no remote...needed

I Have an older 42" Panasonic plasma TV and was just used to the adequate sound. Adding the Vizio 3.0 enhances the sound quality of all programs without being overpowering. There are less expensive and more expensive options, but this really hits the sweet spot for value and performance.

Great price, great sound and capabilities (Bluetooth etc.) I recommend using the digital optical plug for best results (recommended by Vizio as well). Easy installation and setup! Great buy!

I'm so glad I purchased this soundbar. The sound quality is fantastic, I'm amazed it sounds as good as it does, especially for the price. Good bass too. We connect to it during parties via bluetooth and stream music from our phones. Great product.

I was interested in getting a sound bar to improve my experience while watching football and movies. I wasn't sure how much of a beneficial impact a sound bar would have, but I'm very pleased with the results. This sound bar was very easy to install and it's also great to use bluetooth to sync up my phone for playing music. The audio carries very well into other rooms and once my phone is synced with the sound bar I can adjust the volume of the speaker through my phone. Very cool.

I have this paired with a Vizio E-50-C1 TV and we (whole family) really love it. I'm not enough of a movie or audio buff to really want (or miss not having) full 5.1 with sub woofer and surround speakers in our living room. This 3.0 sound bar is a great compromise. It sounds MUCH better than the TV speakers. I also think that the center channel makes a big difference. I have it turned up higher for dialogue. My wife and I are in our 40's, so it's not that we're hard of hearing or anything. Those movies and TV shows where it's hard to hear what's being said over all the other sound effects are much easier to watch now. The bass quality is plenty for us. It doesn't make the dishes rumble and we are fine with that. Overall, it's a good sounding sound bar (vs TV) and the 3.0 (vs. 2.0) is a great upgrade for not much more money.

This is my 2nd sound bar. So far this sound bar is very clear and has a great sound. we might as a sub at some point.

I've really surprised by how good this bar sounds. Was looking at a system with a separate sub but this one has more than enough bass. Mids and highs are solid and lifelike too. Hook up was also a cakewalk. Connected the included optical cord to my tv, switched the tv speakers off and the tv remote controls the bar volume. This thing sounds so good and loud, I think I'm going to get one for my elderly parents so they don't blow another pair of tv speakers.

First thing first - I did buy it on sale for $99 and for that kind of money I would strongly recommend it. It does make TV shows and movies sound a lot better. Has Bluetooth built in so you can hook up your devices easily. Setup is very easy and various input cables are included (including digital optical which is quite a benefit in my opinion).

I wanted something other than the tin/hollow sound that most tv's have, and I am amazed at the sound quality of this item...great bass and crystal clear voice...it's just awesome! I have difficulty hearing sounds and voices with regular tv speakers, and for the first time I can enjoy watching and hearing shows and movies!

Bought this on a whim during a flash sale. Glad I did provides great sound and an added plus is the Bluetooth feature, makes streaming music from my phone so easy.

Tried to hook up to our new TV and the sound bar did not work. Very disappointed..

Tried to go with something less expensive...you get what you pay for!

this is my first ever sound bar that I have bought. movies, music, they all sound great, much better than the tv speakers. you can hear every sound crystal clear and in great stereo sound, this is also easy to connect all wires come with product, I connected mine with the best sounding connection (digital optical cable). . Don't forget to turn off you tv speakers for a better sound. Bluetooth comes also if you want to listen to music from your smartphone. I am enjoying everyminute of this great sounding bar.
