After reading the reviews of this 3.0 soundbar, I was pretty excited and looking forward to it. Unfortunately, I wasn't too impressed. The center channel speaker didn't add much to the experience. I adjusted the settings and I didn't notice much difference in volume or clarity unless I was all the way at the top. That didn't sound great. I feel like center channel speaker is just a gimmick for a soundbar. That's why you really only see 2.X systems. The bass was not enough to my liking. I'm not looking for something to shake the house but just enough for a noticeable upgrade to the TV speakers, and this just didn't do it for me. I have a Bose Soundlink Color speaker and I felt the bass was only marginally better than that. Separate bass and treble controls are nice though. Bluetooth setup was easy and the system includes an optical cable. In the end, I returned the product and found another with integrated subs. It's much more to my liking.

I was skeptical about purchasing this sound bar, but it works very well in my smaller living room. It great that you can pair multiple devices to it.

I am very pleased with this speaker. Just bought a new Vizio TV and the sound was not great. Bought the sound bar and was up and running in a few minutes. I was really happy that my TiVo remote adjusts the sound. No extra remote to deal with. I have a small living room and is just producing amazing sound.

Its sound great. Its not awesome for music (its good) but for TV watching and movies its very good. The dialog's are crisper and clear with a hint of bass that you get from center speakers. Its good. Dont think it can replace a sub woofer cause it cannot produce a nice deep bass. I got a Klipsch reference SW for $99 and now it sound great. I wish there was a menu system. All of the menu are displayed based on led dots. So its cryptic and you need to have the manual to know what and how to change. Earlier I got a cheaper Samsung for $79 and the sound was tiny when compared to the vizio. If it last I am going to be a very happy customer

Picked this up due to the price and great reviews. Fully adjustable everything! Love that almost all cables (no external sub) are included. Varable volume through TV does not work via optical cable but this is normal. Bass is better than a TV speaker but I added an external sub to even out the sound. Great product for the money but they oversold the bass capabilities. Worthy of trying out!

We’ve had this SB for more then 6 years but never really used it. Our Sharp Roku TV speakers seem to be less then impressive lately and pulled this out of its storage location and tried to figure it out (since the manual apparently has been lost.) This SB is extremely quirky to use with this TV. When it works the sound is great. But just don’t use the remote for anything other then the volume or you’ll go nuts trying to get the volume working again with this Sharpe Roku TV. I’ve only gotten it working using the optical cord; can’t seem to get the BT wireless option working between the SB and Tv yet. Will need to search online and see what I can find. Hence just giving it a 3 star for now. Will update this if I find out how to get every option via the Vizio remote working as it should.

We are starting to get a little long in the tooth and were having trouble understanding the dialog while watching movies on our older plasma TV. A complete surround sound system would be wasted on us because our hearing has deteriorated with age. What we needed was a way to increase the dialog volume without increasing the volume of the background sound effects and music. This 3.0 sound bar fit the bill perfectly by being able to adjust the center channel independently.

I bought this to go with my 50in vizio hdtv and it works great. I hooked it up to my home theatre system which puts the sound over the top. Its like my watching movies in a movie theatre!!

Purchased this because my new thin Vizio TV speakers were on the weak side. I love that my TV remote can control the speaker volume. I'm not a sound critic, but we're very happy with the quality.

this was such an easy hook-up right out of the box. Sound is good. Easy to use the bluetooth option. I had it mounted on the wall within minutes. I read almost all of the other reviews to get a good idea of what I was getting. I ordered on Cyber Monday and it was delivered Wednesday evening...and no I didn't pay extra for shipping to have it arrive so quickly. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Happy holidays to me a little early!

got soundbar on sale for 100 dollars. hooked up to my vizio tv and sounds much better than tv speakers.

Very nice soundbar for the tv in my bedroom. Probably wouldn't be acceptable in a large room, but is perfect for a bedroom. So much better than the tv speakers. and for $99! $149 cheapest on Amazon, $200 for Amazon Prime and $195 at Walmart. Bar appears to be brand new, not refurbashed so $99 is a great price.

I bought this to go along with a Vizio 50 4k TV and I am completely satisfied with the sound and look. I am particularly happy with how much bass it produces without a separate subwoofer. It includes the optical audio cable as well. I would highly recommend this.

This is my third sound bar in as many days. I went from expensive to cheap to this one. The problem was they all made it sound like all you needed was one cable and you were good to go. Well after returning the second soundbar I decided to stick with this one no matter what. After fumbing around for a while I discovered you needed all the different cables and connections to hook up your TV,cable box , blue ray and dvd .Now everytging is working great. Its exactly what I wanted in the first place. Just wish they made it much clearer about seperate cables for each piece of equipment

This Visio sound bar is an excellent purchase and has great sound and looks great!!

At the store the base was substantial but when I got it home the base was flat. Some voices sound hollow but overall it is nice and it does stay clear through the volume range. We watched "Inside out" and then football and both sounded very nice and clear.

I bought a couple of days ago a different sound bar from a different manufacturer. I was very disappointed with it and tried researching another option. This VISIO came about in many searches as one of the best in the class. I decided to go for it and was pleasantly surprised. For the size of my living room (condo) and the distance from the TV it seems perfect. Nice treble and bass sound and a set of great options for adjusting the sound. Frankly I could not stop listening to my music collection once I powered it on. It grabbed me and I will stay with it. Hopefully it will last long. Thanks VISIO!

Returned a cheap insignia soundbar today and purchased this Vizio 3.0 soundbar. Of course there is no comparison. This sound bar rocks. Hooked it up In less that 5 minutes. Just plugged in the power and optical sound cable turned it on and it synced immediately. Cannot be happier. Watched a movie and the sound quality is just as good as having a 3.1 system. Like sitting in the movies theater. Bought on sell for 179 on sell great price. Highly recommended.

This is a good product if you want upgrade your tv speakers or in my case to get rid of my home theater system So I could have a cleaner look and not to compromise sound quality.

I bought this a few days ago... open box deal at Best Buy.. & I couldn't be happier with the sound (this is coming from a musician) very surprised at the powerful bass sound without a subwoofer, I have it hooked to a samsung tv.. hookup is very simple. I may get another for my computer
