The old adage is true on this one. I bought this for an elderly family member to replace an old CRT TV, so any TV would be an upgrade in reality. The picture quality was decent; better with DVD's than cable TV reception. The sound quality, however, left a lot to be desired. The built-in speakers sounded very hollow and tinny, and this TV really does require the use of an external A/V system such as a soundbar if you care about any depth in sound.

I was looking for a basic TV to replace an old 35" tube TV. I does the job well. excellent picture and sound quality.The only draw back is the limited input ports. But I've managed to make it work.

This television works well, however the remote has been problematic. I have purchased two additional remote controls since owning this television. For some unknown reason, the remote control just stops working, As I am typing, the 3rd remote is not working:-( The only other disappointing fact is this television only has an on/off button. Therefore, without a remote the channel, volume, or input cannot be changed.

The picture is great . the reviews said that the speakers volume could be late, but I had some old table PC speakers just in case. Shipment was fast ad nothing damaged, I would recommend this TV,

Got this for master bedroom for playing video games and streaming. Nice to do the streaming through tv rather than having to fire up console. Refresh rate makes games like Fallout 4 look great.

this is my first smart tv and we love it. great picture, sound, and features. the built in WiFi is a tremendous plus. no wires in the way and netflix, hulu, and you tube come stream with ease.

I've had a vizio tv before so I knew what I was buying. This tv is just a smaller version than my other tv. I love how it has the Netflix button on the remote. Great picture and easy setup!

Have had the TV since December. Its supposed to be a smart TV, but its smarter than the user because after repeatedly talking to Netflix only and your Murray, Utah store, I still cant get it to work any of the apps or the regular stations!!!!

Vizio continues to produce great TV's and this one is no exception. With it's multiple ports I'm able to use it with games, cable, and PC. Picture is great and love the Smart TV features.

Great product, it was a great price as it was an open box deal. It was our first Smart TV and works perfectly. Very happy with the purchases and the Sales person was very helpful.

I HAD READ QUITE A FEW REVIEWS ON VIZIO TVS AND DECIDED IT WAS THE ONE. I'M EXTREMELY PLEASE WITH IT - THE PICTURE IS EXCELLENT AND AUDIO IS WELL BALANCED. REALLY GLAD I BOUGHT IT.

The Vizio TV works as advertised, pictures are great no matter the brightness or darkness in the room. The Internet search program capabilities are great beyond expectations.

Won't connect to my internet. Tried new routers and even returned the TV. It stayed connected for a day and did the same as the 1st. But great picture. Just can't use Smart TV.

Purchased this TV for my son's room. Perfect size and features. It is our 4th Vizio TV in the house and no complaints about any of them. Great value and great features.

Colors are difficult to get realistic. The issue with sluggish especially with on demand may be more of a set top box problem but I never had it before. The whole display fails to respond to the remote for a long time.

Really enjoyed my tv when I got it in mid 2015. Nice picture quality and fairly easy set up. Apps are limited compared to other brands. It was my second Vizio. Having had 2 Vizios now I find a pattern that they seem to crap out after year 3 or so. My first Vizio, the Ir sensor went, Vizio customer service was poor and not helpful. Now this one, the picture tube is going. Screen getting darker and darker. Had to buy a new tv to replace it as cost to fix either tv no worth the cost. I went with another brand since I've had 2 bad experiences with this brand now. It's too bad because I really liked both Vizio Tv's and put out $$ for both, neither were cheap in cost, but apparently are in their longevity. (I purchased my first Vizio from a different retailer). The second one from Best Buy. I did by the extended 2 yr protection on the second one, but don't you know the 2nd Vizio stopped working after the 2yr protection expired ...not Best Buy's fault. Live and learn.
