Posted .Thanks for the feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you saw in the store. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition signal. This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark.

too much technology for Senior Citizens

Did not really understand the implications of Chromecast and was not pleased with the fact that volume etc. had to be controlled thru a cell phone. Took this TV back to the store ad exchanged for a Samsung.

Unnecessary "smart cast" T.V.

I don't like how u have to use a phone or tablet to control the tv. The advanced technology on this tv is so unnecessary.

This tv freezes and glitches, not able to cast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the only reason I bought this tv is because I thought it was a smart tv, it is not!! they only inserted a chromecast hardwared just to call it smart tv, this is causing problems with the TV, it only works for a few minutes, but it will glitch and it will freeze and won't let me turn it off or change the input, don't buy this vizio tv.. it has software and firmware compativilities problems. besides you need to be a programmer to understand it else it will take hours just to figure it out how to set it up, I'm a programmer and it took my 40 minutes, this TV is not worth the price is sold.

We purchased the tv for a 91 and 86 year old sisters not realizing what we were getting into. This set was not a good experience for them or us!
