    TV works great, but the remote is a cheap minimalist-type. Instead, they foist off an app that doesn't work at all. Vizio needs to provide a FULL FUNCTION remote for their TV's, rather than cheap out with a defective app. Returning it tomorrow, and will NOT buy another Vizio.

    First things first. I have never written a product review but the complete stupidity of the TV design has prompted me to write this review. The TV is truly one of the worst TV designs ever. It is marketed as a smart TV but one must stream from their mobile device to watch NETFlIX or other app. If I wanted to watch on my smart phone I would. Also, I already have a 27" Vizio that connects through wireless and works perfect...they could have just stayed with what is tried and true. I agree with other reviewer that Best Buy should buy back all these TV's and send them back to Vizio. HIGHLY disappointed and recommend everyone run away from this TV!!!!

    I got this (E32-D1) tv as a replacement for the tv that died in the bedroom. The television itself is not bad. I thought it was a smart tv that would give me internet on my television. The problem is the remote (xrt133) once you use it to power on the television it’s useless. Unless you have a smart phone you are up the creek. I have over the air television. I have to scan for channels. There is no way to do that with the remote that comes with this model. And I can’t see myself having to use my phone each time I wanted to make a change to my television.

    Horrible Smart TV

    We bought this on the recommendation of best buy employee who was working the floor. Took hours to try to work on smart phone and even then doesn't work correctly. The app runs continuously in the background even after closing it repeatedly and requesting that it NOT do that. Cannot easily access netflix and hulu unless you have the apps on your phone running. Kept kicking off the wifi. Returning it tonight.

    Picture this...Christmas morning and this tv is Santa's big present to my 10 yr old. We rush to get the recycling out to the curb and two days later we discover you can only change the channel with a cell phone or tablet. Now our internet speed or our daughter's pass me down cell phone is too slow to keep up with the streaming and the picture keeps buffering. We are now stuck with the tv b/c all the original packaging was discarded and forced to buy a tv stick or upgrading our internet speed. Plus Santa's big present isn't as cool anymore. What is the benefit of this tv? What a pointless shortcut! Don't be fooled by the price and spend the extra money on a real Smart TV!!

If multiple devices are buffering when streaming, it likely indicates that your internet speed may not be fast enough for streaming that app. Most apps require the same amount of data regardless of the device being used. If this is the case another streaming device would not resolve the issue. Before you contact your internet provider to upgrade your service, we recommend checking with the app developer to find out the bandwidth requirements for streaming. VIZIO

    You don't get a regular remote with this. You have to use your phone to get the menu and many other things. What a completely nutty idea. Good thing I looked carefully at that and asked questions. Did not buy this siamese twin.

    The good, Very nice picture. The bad,The TV will sometimes load up and work correctly. Others it changes the input resolution, and still others it just will not turn on. Seems to have died after about 6 days of light use.

    I loved VIZIO until this last change they did. I have tried to work with but bought the TV to watch apps from TV and not to load on phone. I will not recommend as long as you have to have a device to run it. The remote is the worst ever!!

    this is by far the worst tv I've ever bought! promptly returned to the store and bought another Samsung. Screen was distorted and couldn't adjust it and set up was too difficult!

    Vizio smartcast is a joke

    Bought this TV for the built-in Chromecast. Big mistake. Tried for over an hour to get the app to work, then gave up. I already have a Chromecast on another TV and it is the simplest thing to use, not so with this TV. I had no idea I would need an app (don't need one with a real Chromecast). Could not get the app to work at all, and even if I had I wouldn't keep this TV, Chromecast is supposed to be simple. I would recommend buying a standard TV and a Chromecast or getting a smart TV.
