My children never let me have the living room television. I was super excited! I noticed that the remote extremely lags when you do anything, i.e. turn up or down the volume, change channel or move through apps etc. I was okay with this because I have LOTS of patience. A few weeks later I turned on a show and discovered the sound wasn't working. Tried a bunch of things and then unplugged the t.v. and plugged it back in and the sound started working again. Almost a couple months after purchasing it I had to reset the t.v. completely because Smartcast was not working and I could not access anything. I couldn't access the apps or even cast to the t.v. Which was irritating because not only did I have to put in all of my app information for Hulu, Netflix, Disney Etc. I had to put it in with an extremely laggy remote. A week later I suddenly can't watch anything on the Netflix app....or cast Netflix to my t.v. I just wanted a working tv so I can watch shows. Thanks for crushing my patience and my dreams Vizio.

Posted .Hello Tvpurchase, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device.
