Only The Best For Mom

Excellent picture quality and easy to operate with remote control for a 97 year old. No complaints here.

Good Picture, terrible audio

Now its too late to return. After a new antenna, new WiFi / router from our Internet provider, new HDMI cable, new Roku, etc. it still exhibits audio stuttering and / or terrible audio synchronization. So made a warranty claim with Vizio. They replaced pretty much everything but the case and the screen. Nothing changed. The audio issues are still there. On broadcast TV and some of the built in streaming apps, audio synchronization isn't bad, but the audio has very annoying stutter / popping symptom. On cable box / Roku, anything we've tried on HDMI, the audio lags perhaps 5 seconds sometimes more. The lip sync setting, which I don't think I've even noticed on our other digital TVs doesn't seem to make any difference. At this point I've got so much time in messing with it that I'm considering trashing it and starting over with something else. I've got another warranty claim in with Vizio and we'll see what's next. From the other reviews, I expect this is a design issue with either hardware or software and I'm not sure they can fix it. I did check reviews before I bought it and it looked like it was 4 1/2 stars or better. Yet there's plenty of reviews here if you read them in detail (I didn't) that complain about bad audio.

Not a really good tv... Don't waste your money...

But I think you get what you paid for. Just good for display. To start tv, it takes forever to turn on. Then trying to navigate through the tv is a pain. Is like opening a browser in an old computer. Really slow. Sometimes when trying to open, let say Netflix, it's stay in a black screen and never loads. You have to disconnect the tv from the power and then reconnect it in order to work. For $50 more you can get a better tv. So if you are thinking about this one... think twice and get the one you were looking first...

Multiple HDMI inputs that are easily named through the onscreen setup. Plus, multiple other online ways to be entertained, like Netflix and YouTube to name a few.

I had help via a telephone call to make the picture extend to the sides of the screen. Just days ago the picture changed to eliminate the tops of people's heads on the screen and eliminate writing on the bottom of the screen.

Posted .Hello television, when we have black bars on the outside of the screen or the picture is too large and things are cut off, that usually indicates that either a zoom mode or an aspect ratio needs to be adjusted. Both of these settings can be found in Menu > System and then Accessibility to make sure zoom mode is off. After that you will want to check the same path Menu > System and select Aspect Ratio to adjust the sides. Bad deal

Inexpensive, but regret buying

I bought this because apparently one TV at home isnt sufficient during SIP times. The tv cannot connect to WiFi properly, there are other devices in the same room connected and working just fine. Once connected, the main menu almost never loads. I can only play Hulu from the TV's app selection. Netflix is available, but never loads. Instead, selecting Netflix to play turns the tv off. It then takes me several tries to power the tv back on. I still can't figure out if the tv turns on after hitting the power button once or twice as I have had to do both. I need to cast Netflix from my phone to watch, and this works most of the time. Two stars for sub-standard quality. I guess you get what you pay for.
