This is my 3rd Vizio tv. The last 2 I bought from BEST BUY online. Very easy transactions and quick shipping. For the money you can not beat these Vizio tvs. Picture quality on all 3 is great. Really good picture from extreme side view also. Sound is good and can be easily adjusted. As tvs need to be replaced they will be replaced by a Vizio

good for the price; speakers weak

Picture is good for the price, and it fits the opening we have for it perfectly, which was the main reason I selected it The speakers on the bottom are really weak, so I'm now looking at options for a speaker to connect to it. If it's in any kind of enclosure and/or in a kitchen, you won't be able to hear it very well. Turning the volume up near the max causes it to vibrate/distort.

TV functioned well and had a decent picture but exactly 5 years after purchase, it is done. Power supply is toast. Not very good at all.

    Won't honor warranty

I bought the TV 5 months ago and it worked great until the 5th month. Then it started bleeding blue smudges from the top of the screen. One of them turned into a black spot the size of a quarter, then one appeared at bottom of screen. Called Vizio to ask for a replacement since it is still under warranty and they said the TV had been dropped. I told them I work in IT and know what a dropped TV / monitor looks like and this hadn't been dropped. They would not honor the warranty even though it has a years warranty for defects. Now it has three black spots that are growing and two thin blue lines going down the right side. Will not buy any more of their products for myself or the company I work for in the IT dept. and we buy a lot of Vizio TV's for managements offices. Send them an email and they wouldn't even reply to it. They know they are in the wrong and won't admit it.

    Sound Quality in the Dumps

Overall, tv works nicely, all the features are great.. but I couldn’t getting over the terrible sound quality. If you have a sound bar then I suppose it’s not an issue but I don’t think I should have to invest in a sound bar to make the sound quality better for a tv in a bedroom. I wouldn’t waste your time with this. I ended up getting a Sony Bravia Smart tv and it’s amazing.

    A bad purchase

Many reviewers on the Best Buy site were raving about this tv, so I went for it. I should have read many more consumer reports. The Tv started malfunctioning the day I bought it. The VIA app would stop working (would not launch) every Friday, so no access to YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, nothing. Only way to make it work was to reset to factory settings. After a month of debacle, I had a technician come to replace the main board. The problem is now worse. The VIA app stops working every day, not just on fridays! Vizio had offered to replace the tv; READ consumer reports: they will sent you a re-certified tv, not a new one. And it will take a month to get it (you first need to send your tv back, and they send you a "new" one within 8-12'working days). If I want a replacement tv, I want to pick it up at the store, and I want a NEW one, not a recertifified. I am now trying to get my money back because this tv is junk, and it seems vizio does not give you your money back (note that the tv is still under warranty as it is 1 month old!). Too bad for me I guess! Also, note that their online Service Request Tracking service never gets updated so you never know what's happening with your order/service request, you just have to waste your time calling back their support Service. Word of advice: stick to slightly more expensive brands if you want to avoid wasting your money.
