My wife and I were looking for a new TV to put into our bedroom, and came across this TV at a good price. I hadn't purchased a new TV in a long time, the last TV we purchased was a 55" Panasonic Plasma TV, so I was not really familiar with Vizio as a brand. After doing some research I saw that they have TVs that make a lot of Top Buys lists. This TV is exactly what I was looking for, great image quality, very small, and the Smart features are a plus. I did not need any 3D features, or 4K resolution. So was just looking for a good quality image when streaming Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. This took care of that out of the box since it connects to WiFi, and has those apps built in out of the box. We connected our Apple TV also, and that looks great also. Sound isn't anything phenomenal, but more than adequate for a bedroom. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, and would definitely recommend it.

I bought this TV to replace an old CRT. I am very please with the picture quality, the sound is good for its speakers, and it has sufficient ports for external devices. I hooked up a Roku streaming box and I have no problems with the audio/video. Only downside is the 'Smart' offerings are limited; consider them an extra.

The Vizio TV is great. I love the smart features and the picture quality is fantastic!

This is a great size TV for my master bedroom (40') also this is my 3rd. VIZIO TV! Although this is my 1st. "smart" TV. And I LOVE it! I can now watch NETFLIX on TV and not on my laptop anymore (well I can both now) but this new set is awesome and very clear and sound is good as well. I like the sleep timer too! Can't go wrong with this set! My old one just died from age and this was a gift, but I did get to pick.

Bought this TV for the kids' "playroom" now that they are teenagers. I bought the 40"model and is very impressive for it's size and price. It's worked very well for us and is great for when the kids want to watch their shows when our main TV is in use. For a main TV for the house, however, I would go with a 4K and larger sized TV.

Nice design and a good picture, only real wish is that it had a faster processor for the apps.

I was looking for a larger tv to replace the one I had. I was also looking to upgrade the picture quality. When I went to the store to shop, this model happened to be on sale. Extremely happy.

This TV would have received a 5 star rating if it had the Time Warner Cable App. That is the reason I purchased a smart TV so I could get the TWC channels via WiFi. On the product information, it never spelled out all the Apps associated with this TV. If I had know the TWC app was not available with this TV, I would have purchased another. With that being said, it have a great picture and great sound for the room.

The picture is perfect for bedroom viewing. It's a smart TV allowing for expanded programs.

Bought this tv for my mother-in-law. Great quality picture. Was very easy to set up.

The power cord does not stay in place. Had to finally attach it with gorilla tape to keep it inplace. Streching the picture to fit was a major undertaking.It was suppose to have a strech setting in the manual but that was false. The coax plug was also difficult to screw on. Ended up using a 90 degree to connect the coax. I should have spent a little more and bought the samsung. The picture and sound are good.

This is my second Vizio TV that I have in my home. I was very well satisfied with the first one so decided to purchase this one for my family room. It has a very clear picture and I don't have HD. So far I am very happy with it and would recommend to a friend.

I bought this tv and loved everything about it except the sound. The volume kept going in and out, even though I turned off the auto volume leveling. The new tv did the same thing, so it's definitely a Vizio issue. I decided to just live with is, as it is a bit more subtle after some tweaking. If anyone else had these issues I would love to know. We recently moved and I purchased this TV for my teenage daughters bedroom. I had it wall mounted so that we didn't need to have a tv stand which would have made her new room crowded. Having the smart TV features are fantastic! She loves Netflix and having this feature built in is perfect! No need for extra Netflix box or having to search for another remote! Excellent picture quality as well!
