The Vizio 40" flat screen television was exactly what we wanted. We were looking for a smart TV and Vizio fits the bill. It has a great picture.

We also own the exact TV except in a 60 inch and have had only great results with it which is what influenced us to buy this 40 inch for our bedroom. Great picture and sound. If there were one thing that needs improvement it would be Vizios app selections ( example no WWE Network )

As a college student, this TV was the perfect size for playing video games or watching movies/tv. Although the SmartTv features are a bit limited when compared to others like Sony and Samsung it still makes for a nice feature. Can't say that I'm disappointed, especially with the price!

I was looking for a new TV that was reasonable with smart TV features. I really liked this TV so far. The picture shows very clear on HD channels and was very easy to setup nextflix along with other APPS. I am impressed with VIZO and would purchase another TV if needed

Bought this on sale back in early 2016, and still works as if I just bought it. No issues whatsoever, the apps work flawlessly even if your wifi isn't the greatest. Sounds pretty good but doesn't hurt to add a soundbar or something.

Love the TV, has exceptional resolution and the perfect size, not too small and not too big. The only reason I would not give it a five is because of the wifi problems. May be because of the Internet I have, or the TV itself because my laptop and phone connect fine.

Sharp, clear picture. Speakers leave a lot to be desired. Will be using a sound bar in the very near future.

Great TV great price the only negative remark is that the remote control buttons are too small! The other issue is that the sleep mode on my last TV was 10 minutes increments and this one is 30 minimum :(

This is the second Vizio smart TV that I have purchased. It is easy to set up and connect to your amazon or Netflix accounts. The picture is great and I haven't had any problems with it thus far.

Vizio 40 Class tv was a great purchase. I wish we had the same product for our upstairs living room. We have a Magnavox that does not compare to the Vizio. Vizio has better clarity and faster data processing speed. No interruptions on Netflix like the Magnavox.

originally bought a 32" for my G.F., but thought a 40" would be nicer. Best Buys worked it out with me for the change of mind and she is very happy with the set. they even matched the sale price after my purchasing it .. good job Best Buys and thanx

this TV has great color,clarity and the size is perfectly-suited for a ceiling mount in the loft area of my cabin. I am able to move the tv around with the swivel mount so I can watch it very comfortably wherever i am in the loft. Very pleased!!

The Vizio 40" TV has a great display, clear and detailed picture. Controls are easy to use. The remote control is somewhat flimsy and hard to read but it does the job. Cannot comment on sound because I use a sound bar. For the money, it's an excellent buy.

I purchased the Vizio - 40 Class (40 Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - HDTV - Black for my son for his apartment. As small as the apartment is, the volume on this tv does not fill the area. Had to purchase a sound bar for it. Picture is great though.

Our old 32" TV in our bedroom stopped working so we decided to go a bit bigger with a 40". Smart choice. Makes a big difference. Would recommend a sound bar as the speakers are not very loud.

Bought this for the office/guest room and it's the perfect choice. Decent picture and the wireless adapter for its built in smart apps works great.

I purchased this Vizio Smart HDTV as a birthday gift for my son. My son loves it with all of its great features. Exactly what he wanted and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Easy to set up. Very user friendly for a smart TV "beginner". So far the only negative is poor sound, which is common for flat TV'S and the qwerty remote is not compatible with this model.

It's worth the price. I bought two for my church. We use it for the children service and the kids love watching Netflix and with the wireless, i did not have to worry running cable in the ceiling. It was also very easy to set it up.

Bought this at a nice discount Super Bowl week and haven't been disappointed. Easy setup and crisp picture. Only reason for the 4 star rating is it could use an extra HDMI as it's limiting to only have 2 HDMI in. Still a great TV though.
