I've been using my E40-C2 for about 6 weeks and am very happy with the picture quality and reasonably happy with the sound. The TV has good colors and a very sharp picture. I will give the combined picture feature quality an excellent rating. I'm using it in my M-bedroom and the sound quality is satisfactory, neither tinny or brash at normal bedroom volume. The online streaming menu is easy to open and navigate, and the 'smart TV' streaming is excellent. Netflix navigates and loads quickly and needed no quality adjustments above factory settings. In the price range, with the great picture quality, the only downside I see is that the TV has no special features (no favorites buttons, no picture freeze, etc.), no control buttons on the TV for on-off, chan. up-down, vol. up-down, etc. and a remote with hard to push buttons. If you can live without the extra features and ornery remote, I don't think you could get a TV with a better picture and sound in this price range. I knocked off one star for the lack of features but will certainly look at Vizio (with more features) when I need to replace any of my other TVs.

Great value for the money. With technology changing so fast, I wanted quality at an affordable price.

Although not my first option for watching movies this tv makes a great addition for viewing tv programming.

I would recommend this item to any of my friends or family.

Purchased this vizio for my daughter's new apartment. The screen appears to look normal out of the box. However, during set up, it looks like the screen has been smashed on the inside when powered on. I've heard similar stories about Best Buy TVs being like this out of the box. Took a chance - should've purchased elsewhere.
