After 5years using an old 24" monitor I decided to just use a TV. I do a lot of gaming and run two video cards and this TV works better than I thought it would. The 120hz helps a lot with quality and I've yet to notice any major issues. There are some minor things that are due to this not being intended to be used as a computer monitor. Overall I'm very happy with this tv.

I had originally purchased a 50" Hisense with the same specs as this Vizio for the same price. They both had similar reviews so I figured for the same price, an extra 10 inches is always nice. A few hours later, I was exchanging the Hisense for this Vizio and I am much happier. The HD picture is comparable to other HD TV's with standard television but it's sports where I noticed a huge difference. Sunday Night Football was crystal clear! It takes some tweeking of settings to get it to your liking but after playing around with it for about an hour I am extremely happy with the picture during sports. The apps are very easy to use and the set up is very easy as well. My only critique is that I don't see where you can easily download apps. Maybe you can't. But it does come with Netflix, HULU, Pandora, YouTube, and a bunch of others so you're pretty covered. I do put it through a Sony surround sound system but the sound is not bad at all for the price of the TV. Eventually I will probably upgrade to a Samsung (in my opinion they have the best quality picture for live sports of any brand) but for now I am very happy with this TV and for the price, you can't beat it.

Six months later is won't turn on. It always was a little finicky turning on and off, and changing channels or smartTV navigation.

This was my first of 4 Smart TV Purchases. Spoiled me to Smart TVs. Good picture; plenty of apps. Software updates install quickly. There are better and there are definitely worse Smarts. This TV I would recommend, especially if this is your first Smart TV.

I bought this TV with some skepticism as I had never bought a Vizio TV before. I went back and forth between Samsung and Vizio before finally deciding for Vizio. I bought it as a monitor as I needed larger desktop space for my work. It was the only TV in its class with 120 Mhz refresh rate. All other TVs in this class are 60 Mhz refresh rate. It works perfectly and I use it as HDMI TV as well after work since it is a smart TV. The only two things that I wasn't impressed with are: No power button on TV itself. If the remote runs out of battery, we can't turn the TV on. This is no big deal but it would be nice to have a power button. I downloaded Vizio remote for smart phone as a back up remote. The quality and finishing of the remote has a cheap look and feel. Other than these two, it is great buy.

I Purchased this TV as a gift. I own a 48 in version of the Visio E series and my son also owns a larger E-Series and we both are satisfied with them. When I saw this TV on Sale, I was confident that it would be a good product. All went well, setup was easy, the picture is great. The apps work great. I probably would not buy through Best Buy.com. I recommend going to the store. It is because of the price match policy. 2 days after I purchased the TV, the price went down and I called. They adjusted the price but not the sales tax. I was told that I would have to bring the TV to the store, return it, and re-purchase it at the lower price in order to get the sales tax adjustment. I don't understand why Best Buy.com couldn't do the same electronically.

Easy set up and install. In only a few minutes I had the tv set up and connected to my wifi. It has an awesome picture and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

This was my very first big purchase for myself and I'm very pleased with this product. Being a computer science major, as well as a techie in general, I'm very picky about products and the things I buy. I look at reviews, problems that other have experienced, etc. After purchasing this tv, hooking it all up I've been pleased since. The tv is thin and very lightweight. It comes with the tv, feet, remote and power cable. The remote has a good feel to it, very thin, but it is a fingerprint magnet. It has a glossy finish to it so it's bound to pick up prints and dust very easily. The 720p experience is nice but if you are looking for the exceptional 1080p Full HD look, this tv can provide that. I like that it has a full aray led backlit panel, it really does make a difference with picture quality. The smart tv experience is nice but not as sophisticated as Samsungs Smart TV OS. It was easy to set up the smart tv functions. Overall, excellent product and will eventually move up to a bigger Vizio TV. Definitely worth the investment over a Samsung LED TV.

Bought this Smart VIZIO to replace my old 32" box TV set. I researched a lot of TV's in order to try and find the right one. I am glad that I did that and chose this one. I have had this TV for almost six months now. I have not had any issues with it which I am happy about. I really like all the features and customizations that it allows you to do. There are many apps to chose from and even allow free trial periods to test them out and see what you like the most. I also really like the clarity and graphics are very clear. I also just bought a new laptop in which I am hoping to connect with this TV and enjoy the large 40" screen. Very nice product and quality made.

TV was easy to set-up and has all the basics that I need in a 1080p TV. Picture is great.

This is a great entry level 40" led smart TV. Quality picture and a great value.

Best TV i ever buy, They also did price match with Costco. It is easy to set up, Smart TV, Don't need Ethernet cable to hook it up. At first I was like why buy VISIo because it is name brand(sony, LG) but i found out it is cheaper but the quality of the picture is better then any of brand name. Make sure you are buying 1080p, also 120 Hz motion rate tv.

Bought the TV because for the best features in the price point ($314.99+tax). Looks great, and picture quality is quite good. However, there's a constant buzzing sound whenever the display is on. Tried to troubleshoot, and contacted Vizio. They said they can send a replacement, but with an older model (E420i-B2). Instead, exchanged it for a new one at Best Buy. The buzzing sound is a lot less now, and will observe and update review if it persists. Would have been a great value.

First bought off brand tv that wouldn't pick up any signal at all, but this one picks up wi-fi perfectly.. Video games have a great crisp picture. Gave a 4 instead of 5 because basketball games on ESPN don't look as great as the picture on any other channel, but still a great tv.

I got this tv a couple days ago and off the bat I thought I would really like it. Before I bought this tv I had a LG tv that was only a couple years ago. I thought I would try and upgrade to a bigger 40 inch tv. Well once I got it I found that that it does not have nearly the same amount of components as my LG that is a couple years old. My LG has 3 HDMI inputs where as this tv only has 2. Well I need all three. Then I found that I cant have both my Direct TV cable box hooked up along with my DVD player at the same time. Both my Cable box and my DVD player use the red, yellow, and white cords. Well this tv only has one of those. The picture of this tv is good but is not the greatest. I do notice blocks when the picture moves quick. My only other complaint would be that when using the smart apps like Netflix and Hulu, it is very slow when accessing the apps. OH, and there is no headphone jack. I find that very odd. If you don't have older style equipment that uses the red yellow and white cords and only have 2 or less devices that are HDMI, then this tv is for you. But if you are someone like me who has a lot, then maybe its not the best choice.

This is a very good purchase. Good picture quality and all. Everything described.Will get a bigger screen.

Great picture and great sound. Nice and narrow, perfect for the bedroom.
