Nice TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far the tv looks and sounds great, it had the brightest picture from others we looked at that were the same size. The only thing I wish was different was the base because it was to wide for the existing stand we had.

Subpar compared to my older Vizio
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't express my disappointment with this TV. I can't speak for gaming but for just watching TV it falls short of my expectations. I have an older smaller Vizio that's basically the same TV just from a few years ago and it's aging and the hdmi ports have stopped working so we decided it's time to upgrade and I expected the same picture quality for this TV as my current 32in from 4 years ago. Plugged it in and set it up easy and there is a noticeable difference in picture quality and no amount of messing with the settings fixes it. If it wasn't for my older TV setting a standard for this one I'd probably find it a pretty nice TV, but considering it can't provide the same picture quality as a similar Vizio from 4 years ago I can't give it more than 3 stars.

Annoying hum
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased as a gaming display for PS4 based on good reviews concerning low input lag. Everything about the set is above average except for the annoying hum coming from the back. Changing some of the settings can lessen or increase the noise. The worst I experienced was on Game Mode with Clear Action turned off. There are complaints starting to surface online about this problem, but not enough solid info yet. The hum appears tied to the backlight settings, yet I couldn't reproduce this on my 2014 Vizio set. Given Vizio's reputation on quality control and failing backlights, I returned two of these before going with a different brand.

Mine has the sound issue too!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Somehow I missed all the other posts that complained about a loud buzzing or whining noise associated with the brightness or backlight levels. Sure enough, from the first second of power on we get a loud, CONSTANT buzzing from the back of the TV. It's not coming from the speakers because it continues when you mute them. It's on every channel. When the scene is brighter or you crank up the backlight the buzzing gets louder. So I will drive 45 minutes to return this. Very disappointed because other people report Vizio won't even replace it with the same model. Does that indicate a known issue with this model? Another review online said there is a "bad batch." I like all this TV has to offer at this price so I may ask if Best Buy will hook another one up at the service desk and see if it is better. Other issues we had: The power plug interface or plug itself. It takes too much force to get the plug to go in just barely and it was at a slight angle. All our other VIzio TVs don't have this problem. I recommend if you try this TV see if you can get a coax cable with an L shaped end because it is tough on the jack to have a heavy cord go straight down and get bent by the back of the TV. Also, consider a soundbar to improve the quality of the built in speakers

Awesomesauce
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After exhaustive online shopping, I was narrowed down to 3 Tv's, and I'm quite pleased with this purchase. I replaced a Vizio 420I - B2 that got hit by a power surge with this one, and there is a dramatic improvement in the quality of the image. (using the "calibrated" picture pre-set) I saw negative reviews regarding the audio, and find that a quick trip through the settings improved the default sound quality nicely. (Recommend a sound bar or home theater set up for any LED tv though) Set-up was a breeze, Wi-Fi works great, apps run well, Only good things to say about this Tv...

apps do not function fully
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was able to log into the facebook app, but there is no news feed. When I called technical support they informed me that I would not be able to see the news feed on the app installed for the visio tv. I do not understand what the point of having the app if I can not look at the news feed.

Turns off and on whenever. Don't buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had 2. BOTH turn off randomly which is common problem online. Nothing worse than watching a movie to have it turn off. Apps are out dated and never gotten new ones. If you live in the Central Florida area its great, you get lots of stations, but I don't. THERE IS A REASON IT IS CHEAP
