    This tv comes with no remote and you have to download an app to use your phone as the remote. Spent an hour trying to make it work and realized it wasn't worth it. Returned it the same day. Not recommended.

    I purchased 3 of these for a bar I manage. The second one I bought had a cracked screen right out of the box. I immediately went to the Best Buy where I purchased it and was told there was nothing they can do. I contacted Vizio and was told the same. The other 2 are still in the bar 1 of which displays a white screen with black lines from time to time. I have to unplug and plug back in a few times to fix the problem. The most recently purchased one works fine for now. We have 8 Vizio tv's at the bar and only have problems with this model.

      In some businesses there is a switch that sends a signal out to multiple displays. The white screen with black lines may be a handshake issue between the display and the source. VIZIO recommends trying this display on a different source device to see if this continues. If it does contact our customer service team as there may be an issue with the TV. VIZIO

    The picture is ok but the lack of a good intelligent remote is terrible. I wish I had know that before buying!! It made my gift to my mom an impractical one.

    I ordered a new Vizio 40" Smart TV from Best Buy's site. Arrived broken, although the packaging was in perfect condition. I returned it to the store, and they exchanged for another. WHICH WAS ALSO shattered. I returned it. I made them unpack the TV, turn it on, scroll through channels. It was fine. I guess third time is the charm. Ridiculous. Didn't even offer me a discount or a gift certificate or anything.
