    40 Inch Vizio Smart TV Full 1080-P

    Nice flat-screen full 1080-P & smart capabilities. No need for antenna or firestick. TV is super light & thin. I was able to mount it myself with no assistance. Was able to take advantage of Best Buy Price Match Garuntee in making the purchase. Good but not excellent pictur quality. Price was lowest you can get outside Black Friday/X-Mas season. Only thing I dislike about tv is it forces you to wave privacy rights by making you agree to data tracking services.

    Bought to replace 32inch in our RV and it mounted right to existing swing mount . Easy setup and great picture . Optical audio port makes it great because I can plug in the Bluetooth module for my headphones and not disturb anyone else .

    The main thing I love about it is that you can adjust the brightness! I’ve always wanted a TV that does that because of how bright it can be in the mornings and at night. The Aircast is also a huge plus because I have mostly Apple products and it helps with school.

    Great tv but having glitch issues

    I love this tv it was an easy setup and everythinsnis extremly user friendly. but we have been having issues with it taking forever to turn on and at one point it would glitch into a green screen and stay that way for awhile before it rebooted and would show the actual tv. Will be returning for another one just to see if we just got unlucky with a bad model.

    Perfect size for a Class A Winnebago Its lightweight and has a fantastic picture. Sound could be louder but a soundbar easily fixed that

    Very Slow and full of Errors . Think before you bu

    1st TV Used only for 2 days and the smart home started malfunction. Popped up an error with a code . And had to return it and then bought the 2nd same model tv used it for 8 days same problem Started so instead of returning had to figure out a way to fix this now I’m unplugging from the wall outlet every time when i see this error . I’m tired of this TV and Tired of taking it back to Best buy and return.

    This Vizio was the perfect replacement for the Gallevia that finally died. I was open to switching brands but Vizio is so relatable and the other TVs in our place are all Vizios.

    This TV constantly goes to a “ no network detected” screen, you cant get through a single episode without rebooting the TV or unplugging it from the wall

    Streaming Apps Frequently Don't Work

    Bought this TV 3 weeks ago after owning two VIZIO TVs for 10 plus years w/o any issues, and reading positive reviews at Best Buy. It's a nice TV and easy to set-up. However, the TV has to be rebooted every couple of days to get the apps to display correctly. Streaming YouTube TV you get a green screen frequently, and today the Netflix app froze-up (pictures below). Hopefully VIZIO and Best Buy can solve the problem. I don't know if it's a random quality control issue, but if it's a known issue with Smartcast then I'd say go with a different brand.

    I have had this tv for a few months now and it was working fine. But on day I was watching tv and in the middle of the show the screen just turned green. Since then everytime I try to watch a show a green screen just appears. This was a waste of my money.

    This brand new television continues to have volume and freezing issues. The only way to fix it is to unplug it so it resets and plug it back in.

To power cycle a TV you will want to unplug the power and then hold the power button on the back of the TV for at least 5-10 seconds while unplugged.     44 days after purchase. The tv start restarts itself after watching it an hour. So every hour I have to turn it back on. Annoying, normal a great band of tv.

    Poor Performance Quality

    Just two days outside of the 15 day return period, my TV began to act up. The screens becomes pixelated then it jumps back to the start screen in the middle of me watching Netflix or HBO. Vizio tech support did not solve the problem. I will be contacting Best Buy to see if I can exchange for another brand. I like the “ Watch for free” options but not worth the inconvenience.

    Do not buy thos tv trust me.

    This tv is garbage!  1 when i watch netflix the screen always go snowy or green. 2 apple airplay is broken only lets me play once in a while 3 when ever i cast the screen always goes to a half screen. I spoke with vizio customer service 3 times and every time they siad the problem was fixed. This tv is so frustrating. Trust me spend your money on a better tv because this tv is stright trash.

    Great TV for my purposes!

    The Good: The size-for-price proposition can't be beat. The display is plenty bright. The TV has thus far been very reliable, easy to use, and the wide selection of apps that come with the TV have met my needs. The Less Good: Color seems a little bit over-saturated (can mostly be adjusted). Built-in speakers are pretty weak (easy enough to connect external speakers, if desired). Also, this may be more of a Chromecast thing, but there's no way to password-protect the bundled Chromecast that comes on the TV, to prevent troublesome family members from streaming to it uninvited - such as streaming bad music videos in the middle of one's workout, LoL... :-) BTW, HarborFreight sells a $16 swivel wall mount that works perfectly with this TV.

    It’s Worth the Purchase!!!

    This TV is most definitely one of many satisfying purchases I have made in my lifetime. It’s crystal clear 1080p display is by far amazing. I recently found out that this vizio series is also a gaming enhanced TV. For any gamer out there, finding a TV that has great graphics & high performance stats for your gaming experience is a dream come true. The only problem I have with the TV is it’s poor connection to stay hooked to WIFI. Since the TV is wifi enabled, it sometimes drops from my router & becomes glitchy. Other than that I love the new D-series vizio.

    The legs were too far apart for the TV stand I had, and I had to go with a wall mount even though we measured the TV in the store. Bring back TV's with center pedestal stand!
