Nice picture easy setup good quality smart TV. Very nice set

This TV is a rarity among its peers as it actually pairs typical SmartTV functions with Google Cast and Apple AirPlay/Homekit. You do NOT need to buy any additional media boxes! (i.e. Chromecast, AppleTV, etc.). Otherwise good picture quality but just wish they offered these features with a larger screen.

Online manual answered all my questions about connecting my DVD player. Initial screen set up was easy to follow. The TV was light weight and well packaged for easy assembly on table top location

This works great! I purchased it because my previous Vizio did not have all of the apps on it that are now available and didn't have SmartCast. I didn't give it 5-stars because the process to return to watching TV after using the apps is not intuitive. In fact, the first night I turned it off unable to figure out how to get back to regular programming. After I figured it out, I had to teach my husband because he was stuck in the same spot. They should add a button to the remote that takes you back to TV. Or exit the apps to the TV instead of a menu that doesn't make TV obvious.

I purchased this when I moved into my own travel trailer. I didn't have an antenna, didn't want satellite. I have internet only so I watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu. This TV is fantastic for that purpose. Great picture, easy to use. I love it!

THS TV REPLACED A SMALLER SCREEN UNIT THAT WAS HAVING VIDEO PROBLEMS. I AM ABLE TO READ MOST OF THE SMALL SCRIPT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN READILY DURING NEWSCASTS NOW. tHE COLORS ARE CRISP AND CLEAR.

Easy to set up and great picture. Price was extremely reasonable

Needed a specific size TV to replace a big bulky set for an elderly relative. This TV has easy set up, good viewing screen, and compatibility with direct cable. Being able to bypass smart tv functions to keep it very simple and easy to use is a plus. Just wish that you could set local time without having to log into wifi and smart tv mode.

This tv is a great value for the money. Really good picture. As others note, speakers are not great, but I read other reviews and they recommended a setting change which helped tremendously. Set up a breeze, super easy to access my Amazon Prime. Is it as good as my high end Samsung, of course not, but I paid a third of the price. I am quite happy.

Its a great TV for a bedroom or office. The picture and sound are good. It already has apps, built in like Netflix. It also has watchfree which is pluto tv.

Bought this tv as a replacement for an old 32in tv for my bedroom. This tv is working great. Lots of apps you can stream and a normal size remote control (I also have a Roku smart tv that has a small remote control that constantly gets lost). Overall I’m very happy with this purchase. I would have given 5 stars but the setup of the TV in checking for updates seemed to take forever. Instead of checking just once and making the update, the tv checked 3x, downloaded the update and then rebooted each time. A little frustrating but only a one time thing.

We are very happy with our first smart TV. The apps feature provides a new dimension to our viewing. The ability to “cast” what’s on an iPad to the TV is great!

We wanted to purchase a new tv for our kids playroom that had enough HDMI hookups for two game systems and also was a smart tv without breaking the budget. These Vizio tvs are really nice. The Playroom isn't huge so a 40" is totally fine for them and they can easily navigate to Netflix or YouTube when they are not playing video games.

The image quality and sound is terrific. The first time I turned it on, however, the Smartcast option froze. Upon restarting it by disconnecting the plug, the problem was fixed.

I so love this television with the different apps to choose from. Easy to navigate and set up. And the price of this television was awesome. Will buy another.

Very easy to set up. Nice size. bright picture. The color is not the best but okay for a bedroom TV. Very pleased with the price!

I have never had a 1080p TV until this one so I was very pleased with the picture quality. Looks fantastic and fits on our little TV stand. The sound quality is horrible, though. We had a very old Panasonic with front speakers which sounded loads better than this. Too much volume and this TV distorts. The higher frequencies are even painful on the ears. I almost convinced myself to buy a sound bar but unfortunately the sound isn't the only issue. This TV is very buggy. The Smart Cast in particular. Whenever we cast something onto our TV, the volume automatically goes to 100 (destroying our eardrums). Why not just turn down the volume, you ask? Well, once the video is casted, nothing on the remote but the OK button works. It takes around 5 minutes for the volume buttons to finally work for some reason. I would blame a lot of the TV's slowness on my internet connection but things like not being able to control volume or pull up the TV menu while casting isn't an internet issue, so I suspect that it is the TV which is making navigating so difficult. I can't even adjust the volume manually on the TV. Not to mention, we can stream 1080p on our laptops no problem. I stupidly tore up the box so I could fit it in the recycling bin, so I doubt Best Buy will accept a return. Maybe I'll have more luck with a Roku or Fire TV.

I had a 32'' tv for many years and felt like it was time for an upgrade. This Vizio caught my eye due to it's price and size. If you have any gaming consoles, your games will look sharp and fantastic. Overall, it does its job well and it is worth the purchase if you want something bigger than 32'' and affordable.
