And the color is very good. We bought this model primarily because it was on sale. But it's done the job.

It comes with about 10-12 pre-loaded apps but you won't be able to download an additional apps. Because this TV has the Chromecast feature, you have the option to throw apps to the TV for your viewing pleasure. I'd prefer to download apps directly to the TV.
