Slow and freezes

Tried updates, using wifi, running a internet cored straight from the router to the tv, same thing. Super slow and freezes over. When it does decide to work. The picture quality its pretty good.

But it’s great value for what you pay!

The display is not bad and it’s a decent looking tv. Cons — tv is not consistent and often does not function properly. I bought this tv brand new and one would expect near perfection with a few flaws with age. However, I’ve only had the tv for a year but from the moment I received it, there has been issues. The tv would turn off in the middle of streaming and after powering it back on, it would only display a black screen with a motherboard error message. The resolution provided by Vizio customer service was sending a technician to reset the TV’s motherboard, which temporarily resolved the issue. Less than a month afterwards and still today, the tv shuts down on its own and/or randomly displays a black screen. More often than not, I have to unplug and replug the tv back in in order for it to function or at least function properly. If you want a tv simply to watch a show or two from time to time, will rarely use it generally or will rarely utilize any other smart functions, and wouldn’t mind random shut downs and unplugging and replugging it every time you’re wanting to watch, then this tv is an option. If you want a tv to function consistently, run smoothly, and simply power on every time you hit the power button then, I would consider other options. Better alternatives are perhaps $40 more and would be worth the investment.
