This was a Christmas present for my mother-in-law. It was bought primarily so she could access Netflix. After installing the tv, she couldn't believe how much brighter and sharper the picture was than her previous tv. She finds it easy to navigate - - she loves the tv!

This Smart tv was extremely easy to hang on the wall. Easy to setup the Awesome App’s. A beautiful picture. A great bang for the bucks.

I think it a great Television. The sound is great. It's easy use. The remote is great. It has excellent sound.. Has all the features you need. I recommend this Television to anybody. I got this tv for my daughter and she loves it.

I’m very happy with my new Vizio t.v., It’s exactly what I wanted. Easy set up, sharp, clear picture and simple to adjust to personal likes . If I wanted a second t.v. I’d get another Vizio ! Oh, I must add......very reasonable price !

Good picture, Right size for my cabinet. A little slow when changing channels or apps and I wish I could add my own apps.

Really nice picture. Nice and slim fits perfect on the wall. Super glitchy..always freezing while using Hulu or Netflix or exiting out to Home Screen. Sometimes it freezes and I have to unplug it to get it to work again. Remote has a delay to it so it take a while to get where you’re going. I give it 2 stars for the price

This is a great 2nd tv for the kids. It is easy to set up and has a clear picture and connects to other devices.

Vizio has stepped up their game in major ways recently, and this is one example. Very affordable, with a good picture and a decent amount of inputs. One thing to remember, though, is to skip past EVERYTHING at start-up. These tvs are so cheap because they make money off of selling data based on your viewing habits once you connect to your wifi, so just don't connect to it. If you already have a Roku or Apple TV, you've got what you need to use this.

I am a big fan of Vizio TVs. You get the best bang for your buck. This tv has all the bells and whistles that Sony and Samsung have for a lot less money. The setup was easy and I love the apps that came with the tv, such as Netflix.

So let me tell you about this TV. My boyfriend bought it for me as a birthday present to replace my old TV. Its thin, and it looks good. But it has a pretty big lag even when I'm on the main menu. It takes a while to navigate through the apps and can sometimes give me issues when I'm trying to change the volume. I have to constantly hard reset it to fix it. I wouldn't recommend it.

Video quality is great. Roku TV has a better interface, naturally, but you want this if you need airplay at a fair entry level price. Something is fishy with the line of sight on Vizio remotes. I own the same TV in 55 and have issues also at times getting it to switch input modes. Pausing via Airplay is tough at times also. That being said all of what I make mention of may very well be my internet. So I’m not judging based on that. Go with other reviews also and apply a grain of sodium.

Easy to set up and the directions were the best I have ever used to follow while going through the different setup screens. I did have to use the search for channels. I connected the TV antenna cable and turned the TV on and channels I never got before on my old TV and converter box were instantly there.

I purchased this TV to go in our game room. It was a great buy and we are so satisfied with it. The tv has a great picture and was very easy to set up. BestBuy is our favorite go to electronics store, we have traded with BestBuy around 15 yrs and have never had a problem.

The picture is great. Vivid colors with good contrats. Sound is very good as well. Stands too low for our installation, mounted on a table top glass base ajustable stand and works perfect.

This Vizio 40” class D series was a nice purchase for my needs... set up was easy, and I am not electronically inclined...color and picture is nice. Perfect for the extra room. Purchased on a decent sale promotion.

I bought this tv for my bedroom. I have had two Toshiba tvs in my bedroom, but they have malfunctioned way too soon so I decided to switch brands. I have a Vizio that I bought in 2009 and it still works. This is a great value for a smart tv. One thing I really like about this tv versus the past Toshibas is the sound. This tv balances sound much better. There are a few commercials that were always much louder than others and became annoying. I no longer notice them with this tv. Great buy!

Overall the TV set is what we were looking for. Fairly easy to setup, fit into the cabinet very nicely Not enough "proper" connections...in hooking up TV to Dish network, DVD player, stereo unit, etc.....had to go to lower quality connections...... #1 BAD issue.....volume level is way too little....TV to sofa...maybe 15 feet....not loud enough "comfortably".....

Price and capabilities encouraged my purchase. A great value for the money. Got the 40" since it was only slightly more expensive. Easy to set up and great picture. Using in the bedroom with a Roku for channels and it is a good option since we can't get cable there.
