Pretty good tv

Easy to set up/use but with issues

No issues with the first but this one has several. For one it nevers remembers the WiFi so I constantly have to reconnect and enter the password. However, the worst issue is that at times it won’t pick up any WiFi connections at all even when the WiFi is working to the point where the tv has to be reset to factory setting just to get it to work. This makes it a huge inconvenience as the whole set up process (although easy) takes about 10 mins.

Excellent product!

The first one I bought is a 60" and its nine years old and still works like it was brand new! The new 40" is working flawlessly and thank you Vizio for making the best products!

Very pleased with the purchase of a 40 inch Vizio

We talk to the sales reps at Best Buy and they suggested a 40 inch Vizio which we purchased and we are very pleased. It was easy to set up it is everything that they described.

I kept this TV for a week or so and had to return it because it was so slow about programming and changing apps and regular programs so I ended up paying a little more and buying favorite brand of tv and I was happy with my toshiba.

The only thing that saves it is the screen/color is great and there’s an easy “picture change” button to click through. But otherwise? Do not buy this TV. It’s laggy. Seriously I feel like this television is somehow on dial up - and I know it’s not my internet because I had a FireTV in the same exact spot that had zero speed issues. It’s not the streaming that’s laggy it’s the user interface.. I have to wait 8-10 seconds to scroll from one app to another. And it does this weird freezing thing where the screen just goes black, and you can reset it any other way than unplugging it and plugging it back in. Using the power button on either the remote or the TV console does not work. And it doesn’t have the HBO Max app! You have to cast it from your phone - that’s literally the official Vizio advice from their website. It’s 2021?! Honestly... just buy the $30 more expensive TV, save yourself this frustration.
