Visio has always been priced low, and I have always had the American-made value in my short list when I've needed a TV, but this is my first purchase. After a month, I can say that this thing is junk. When it is showing you something it's fine, but the Smartcast OS is terrible. It's occasionally laggy, even to change the volume. The apps available are puzzling. There's 70 of them, but about 40 are so odd and obscure that I can't imagine that they are real or relevant. A few popular ones are missing altogether, like HBO. It freezes or hangs on its own to the point that I have to unplug it at least twice a week to reset. Buy this TV only if they have sold out of everything else.

Picture and sound are great for what I needed in a workout room tv.

I love Best Buy but this is the worst tv I have ever owned. The picture is beautiful but that’s why it gets 1 star. It is extremely slow and sometimes it won’t respond at all. If you can reboot it takes forever to load and works great for an hour then it freezes up again. Vizio TVs have never been an issue for me until this one. It’s a true dud and from reading the reviews I’m not the only that has noticed how slow it is. Stay away from this one.
