Tried many times to get Alexa paired with the tv but a no go. Alexa tells me she found the tv but when I try to tell Alexa to do anything with the tv it says the tv is not responding.

However, this smart functionality definitely has some quirks to it. Twitch and Youtube streams would often stop to buffer and then never come back. They would also slow down the video while keeping the audio normal speed, until the TV had decided it had enough and warped the video forward to catch up. For the price and for what we wanted (background noise with the occasional streamed content,), it isn't the worst purchase in the world, but it could be much, much better.
