40" wall mounted size are first criteria. visio compared favorably on picture quality and price. great selection. easy to install.

Setup was easy, picture and sound are fine. My only reservation is that this was bought to replace a 32 inch Vizio whose LED backlighting died less than 4 years after purchase. That's quite a short lifetime and I hope Vizio has resolved whatever causes that sort of premature death - especially when replacement LED strips for the old TV are unavailable. On a positive note, the new 40 inch TV was $10 cheaper than the old 32 inch that died.

It works just like it’s supposed to. Easy to hook up and easy to hook up any media you want . Nice picture too

The tv in itself was great for a bedroom use. Even with the help of Visio customer service, they couldn’t determine what was causing the tv to shut off after 15 to 17 minutes of use. Yes there is a setting that will shut off the tv after a certain amount of time, but we had changed that when it occurred the first time. To top that, we would have to unplug the tv for 30 seconds in order to turn it on again. The manual controls in the back of the tv didn’t help with the problem. I’m sure it’s a great tv, but in this incidence, it didn’t work for us, and we’ve gone through several tv’s over our lifetime.

Just love my tv clear and colors are bright. Haven't had any problems so far when watching seem like I on the football field

For the price, this is a good buy. Bought it for my Father-in-law, he had limited space for the TV and this one fit just right in. The picture is fine for him. Had once to remove the power and plug it back in when the TV just went black and was not able to turn in. Hope it was just one glitch.

I bought this for my daughters bedroom and she loves it. The picture is crystal clear! Great price

This is my second Vizio television. I bought this one for my bedroom. You can beat the quality for the price.

This tv is my 4th Vizio TV's that I have owned over 11 years because I have believed in the Vizio complany that produces quality TVs at prices that won't break the bank. This 40-inch TV once again exceeds my expectations. Excellent video quality and the remote control is well-thought-of, and very low power consumption so less heat from the unit. All that for under $200!! I am super pleased with this model from Vizio!

Still good after a year from purchase. Once again you don't have to get the most expensive.

Bought this as a back up TV and it's good. Picture quality and sound is good. And the user interface is simple.

I’ve had this tv for about 3 months now and i haven’t ran into any problems. It has a lot of cool features and I love that airplay is built into the tv so I really don’t need my apple tv anymore. The only thing that is weird is that every once in a while the speakers get turned off and i have to go to the menu and turn them back on, but it’s not that big of a deal.

I got this TV as a simple size upgrade for my consoles, and it definitely is a great TV. Good color and good speakers. My only problem is the SmartTV aspect. In my opinion, the software is too slow and choppy for my taste, and I end up just using Netflix or Hulu from my plugged in PS4.
