This 40-inch TV once again exceeds my expectations. Excellent video quality and the remote control is well-thought-of, and very low power consumption so less heat from the unit. All that for under $200!! I am super pleased with this model from Vizio!

Good tv if it didn’t shut off every 17 minutes.

Even with the help of Visio customer service, they couldn’t determine what was causing the tv to shut off after 15 to 17 minutes of use. Yes there is a setting that will shut off the tv after a certain amount of time, but we had changed that when it occurred the first time. To top that, we would have to unplug the tv for 30 seconds in order to turn it on again. The manual controls in the back of the tv didn’t help with the problem. I’m sure it’s a great tv, but in this incidence, it didn’t work for us, and we’ve gone through several tv’s over our lifetime.

Good TV for the money

Bought it for my Father-in-law, he had limited space for the TV and this one fit just right in. The picture is fine for him. Had once to remove the power and plug it back in when the TV just went black and was not able to turn in. Hope it was just one glitch.

The quality is as expected for the price. The only complaint I have is that every few months the tv quits responding so it has to be unplugged for a while to get it working again.
