Don't trust the overly positive reviews. There are much better options. I had purchased this TV and returned it for the same model, so my criticism is based on 2 of these TVs which was consistent enough for me to take the second back and get a Samsung. The problem with the first Vizio started right away at the setup stage. It would recognize my wireless router but it would get an error upon connecting and show it as not connected, however, skipping this step to the home screen eventually showed my router anyway in the top corner of the interface. I opened the Netflix app to test the connection and the TV froze. The TV was unresponsive to the power button on both the remote and the button on the TV so I had to force unplug. When I re-plugged I had to wait before the TV responded to the power button. Finally, I was at the home screen and I seemed to be connected to my wireless router despite that error message last time that said I wasn't. Netflix started successfully this time but then another problem; there were 4 dark spots that shaped a medium sized rectangle in the middle of the screen. I guess it has something to do with the backlight technology. It was extremely noticeable on grayish tones. I took it back for number 2. Once again I got the network error. Once again it crashed at the app startup. Oh and those 4 spots. I see them on this one too. I updated the software to the latest and did a factory reset. This fixed the wireless connection error upon startup and every app seemed to work fine except Netflix. The Netflix app was getting a network error. I called Vizio customer support and the representative and I did EVERYTHING. He told me to try Netflix support or possibly get a replacement. This was the replacement. Netflix couldn't fix the error. Basically this TV wasn't going to have Netflix unless I bought a Roku stick and skipped on Vizio's awfully slow Smartcast software (Roku is leaps beyond Smartcast, btw). Even if the software on this TV worked flawlessly, you still might get those 4 dark spots. I took it back and got a Samsung but if you are trying to keep costs down I recommend the Roku TCLs.
