I tried to return the tv after I found out these things were happing but Best Buy wouldn’t allow me for some reason. So save your money no mater how cheap the tv is, it’s not worth the hassle.

Great entry level TV

I do not game, so I wasn't concerned about refresh rates beyond 60HZ, or Freesynch, etc. Admittedly, it takes some tweaking to get it to look good as a computer monitor, but it has settings for that which are a good starting point. I have used it for a while now, and I have to admit I don't regret it. 1080P is fine for the intended purpose. It is a very good entry level monitor/TV.
