Have been a fan of the Vizio TVs for a while, and when I realized my WFH experience was going to go a bit more long term than anticipated during the Pandemic, I wanted a larger monitor for my office setup for monitoring servers. $600-800 for an ultrawide monitor, or... $250 for a 40" 4k UHD TV? It actually worked great as a 3rd monitor, and the SmartTV capabilities worked for the rest of the time when I wasn't working (promise).

Great price, great picture, great apps! I got this as an "open box" special for a great price and it has not disappointed.

My Fiance wanted a tv for watching while playing pool in the basement and this fit the bill. We have Google Homes throughout our home so after researching Vizio Smart TVs, I decided that this was a great match. Once connected, you're able to just say what you want (i.e. Hey Google, turn on/off the tv.). Quality is great for the price, sound could be better but he's happy. Based on this purchase, I plan on purchasing another Vizio Smart TV to replace an existing one.

Real simple to set up TV right out of the box, Beautiful Picture, I'd recommend this TV to anyone looking for a Great Quality TV.

What an awesome tv picture is fabulous has all the built in apps you could need breathtaking colors and very easy to set up

I had a problem with set-up where it froze up in the middle of set-up and had to unplug it and restart after waiting for an hour to get started. Picture quality is nice but is fainter if you are at an angle to the picture. The streaming work great and makes a good video gaming TV at a great price. Sound quality was not bad for a 10W speaker. For the price, I don't thing you will get a better picture for a 40" 4K Smart TV.

Really nice picture, good sound, and this was the only 40" that was less than 36" wide, which was the space I had in my master bedroom. My only complaint at first was that the picture was set on vivid from factory, this made people look a little off on color, on regular channels. It did look amazing on our DVD. It took me a little bit too get used to the remote. Overall very happy with our purchase, hoping this one lasts as long as the 16 year old Vizio I purchased for my Mom.

Just got it installed. Picture appears great though the real test is to come as we travel. SIze is great for our application

I am very impressed with the picture quality, this is in my basement, I had a 32 inch down there but it wasn't big enough for viewing as I was sitting so far away. I have other Vizio products and have always been happy with them so I looked into this particular TV because it was a Vizio and a 40 inch, just the right size.. For the money, it is one of the best values I've purchased in a long time. Very Very happy with the TV in every way. Would highly recommend to anybody.

This TV may be on the small side these days when 65” seems to be the norm. But, we bought it to fit inside an existing entertainment center, which it does perfectly. It has a terrific picture and great sound and has all the bells & whistles we need.

Size, color, hd and price was great. I didn’t want something too big for my sons room and this tv was perfect.

This is a nice smart tv. It has a really nice picture to get and is so easy to work.

Bought this 40" 4K Vizio a couple weeks ago on the Best Buy salesperson recommendation to upgrade the bedroom TV. Just got the wall mount so installed last night. Set-up was longer and a little more frustrating than other reviews said but it finally loaded everything and completed. Picture quality is excellent and the wife loves it with all the pre-loaded apps right on the remote. And it replaced a smaller Vizio and the Verizon remote didn't even have to be reprogrammed.

Great TV- Vizio is always a smart buy. Clear picture. Easy to maneuver.
