If you have been into computing for the last million years or so, the name Vizio should be very familiar. Vizio video screens were the cream of the crop -- and still are -- for at least the last 30 years or so. By the same token, Vizio has taken its video expertise and has created a 40-inch smart TV that is easily worth the money. Indeed, it was for sale the day I purchased it about a money ago. The Vizio was a replacement for another non-smart TV that suddenly lost its video section (the audio was great, though, but you can't use a non-working TV set without the video). Anyway, I have found that the Vizio is an excellent video unit. It has more than enough available portals for anyone's use. There's the smart setting, of course. And then there are the HDMI portals for things like your cable box, as well as other HDMI-based units like a basic "smart speaker" or portal. The video display comes with its own remote unit that covers six basic services, as well as the services offered by the video portal. It also allowed me to set up the Vizio so it offered the color and sound sourcing I wanted. Wrapping up this review, I can say that the Vizio is everything I need and want in a TV receiver. That's a pretty good review, right there, I should think.

The picture is very clear and bright. It was easy to take out of the box and start using it.

We have this TV in our kitchen nook and it use it mostly for watching the news when we're cooking dinner, although we have watched other shows on it as well, The picture is really bright and clear right out of the box and did not have to make any adjustments. The sound is not bad either. Overall, it's a great TV for the price.

This LED TV has a bit less definition and saturation than OLED ones but it only costs 1/3 of what they cost and from usual distances you can't tell the difference. It is a great value. Set-up is nearly automatic and it easily finds and uses whatever wifi network you have. I use it with the Vizio soundbar and the remote controls both flawlessly.

This TV has a wizard that helps one to set up network, colors and other options. Quick and easy.

I bought this to replace my 32 inch vizio in my room. Not a bad tv. You do have to play around with it and adjust it to get the best quality image. For watching movies on Netflix and my blu ray player and such it's great! Nice crisp picture. Unfortunately DirecTV doesn't have 4k right now so the picture quality is so so when I just watch tv. But that's alright. Like I said, for the price I can't complain.

Probably one of the best perchases I have every made. Setup was so simple and it runs so smoothly. Picture quality is great for the price but the audio lacks behind the competition. But this TV is incredible, low on energy consumption, easy to maneuver, and great product quality. Don’t hesitate to purchase this TV. Also, careful with shipping, my first tv was damaged in shipping so look into picking up in-store.

Pretty cool TV. Definitely buy it new as opposed to other brands. Remote has individual buttons for popular apps which is nice. It has a decent picture with a variety of picture qualities depending on what you're using the screen for. Chromecast is built in and I can cast my phone screen to the TV. Pluto TV is a plus. It has a variety of entertainment options.

The start up and assembly was very easy. When it came to sound and color adjustments, this took quite some time to get set. I did take the time to adjust the brightness and other colors at different times of the day so that the picture was always good no matter what the lighting was in the room. The sound is average for a TV. A sound bar may help. This is the first VIZIO we purchased.

Great size for the bedroom or college student. Works great with the fire stick. Good picture.

The picture on this TV is very sharp. And I really like the SmartTV features. The only drawback is that I haven't found how to add apps to the app row. Other than "casting" them to the screen from another device. And, one of the HMDI ports had a blackout issue, but that may have been an interface issue with my device. Other than that, this TV was the right price and size for my home.

I needed a small 4K TV for my small bedroom and this TV does the trick! It even has HDR, which is great. The colors look good especially when I play movies on my 4K Blu-Ray player. The sound is sufficient, but a small 2.1 or 3.1 setup can make the experience that much better. Given the low price point, you really can't do much better than this.
